I was part of his testing group, so I got to be part of the early writing. It's probably the best one I've encountered. @Anti- Lies!!! the practice we do in this class, Uddiyana Bandha, is one of the techniques I would most recommend you to master. I did a 10 day challenge, called Raise Your Vibration, where I teach how to develop this skill. Once you've got it down, you can start to incorporate it into your self intimate practice and I'm sure you will find it very effective 👌

      Dear Natalia,
      As I'm not a doctor or trained in medicine I cannot give you any medical advice.
      As a Yogi, I can share with you that my understanding is that the thyroid is intimately connected with Vishuddha Chakra, the throat Chakra. Which governs our self expression, creativity, truth, the voice and ears, inspiration, arts and sciences. With this understanding, blockages in Vishuddha Chakra (or thyroid problems) can be connected to emotional blockages or traumas that occur in childhood due to an inability to express ourselves, being told lies or asked to lie for an adult, growing up around loud noises, not being encouraged to express ourselves or be creative; arts, singing, dancing, etc.
      Healing from these type of wounds often involves learning how to express our Truth, how to feel safe and comfortable to be ourselves, to share our inner most intimacies with the world and feel validated and accepted.
      This is the type of practices we focus on in our online course Transformation. Healing emotional wounds and childhood traumas throughout each of the Chakras. (bit.ly/JTTClvl2) If it interests you, here is the link. If you have any questions, feel free to write me at refeelyoga@gmail.com
      Aside from the powerful emotional work, if you want to start a practice today, I have a 10 day challenge called "Rejuvenate Your Essence" (bit.ly/Rejuvenate10) It's a great free program focused on Vishuddha Chakra.
      Hope this helps!
      With love,
      Andrew

    Hello Andrew, I have a question about Ujjayi pranayama. There are different versions to do these breathing techniques, some said exhale through left nostrils or hold the breath or the inhalation and exhalation should be 1:2.😂😂😂
    Then how should I see all these different teachings?

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  ปีที่แล้ว

      These are all different variations of the breathing. It depends what is your goal with the breath. Adding the 1:2 ratio will make the practice more relaxing, so it's good if you want to slow down and go into a very relaxed state. Exhaling through the left nostril makes the practice more cooling, because when Ujjayi is done in a powerful way, it's actually a very fiery breathing practice, so this is done to balance that heating effect.
      Personally, I prefer to do this practice as one of introversion, using the sound to meditate on and go inside with in a very gentle way. So I usually don't add any breath counting, and I don't do it in such a strong manner that it's a very heating breath.
      But yes, all of these variations are correct and valid. It simply depends on what desired effect you are looking for.
      Hope that helps!

    • @dorialiu3869

      @@RefeelYoga thank you so much! I like the way you are using..counting the breaths 1:2 actually makes me feel too much.the way you explain feels right! So we make the practice our own by being aware of what effects we want to get✨

    is it ok to practice at night. seem to remember it messing up my sleep. maybe its my addictive personality seeking highs.

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can practice Yoga at night, yes. However I would recommend avoiding any practices with fast breathing, dynamic movements or backbends, as these can all be quite stimulating and disrupt the sleep. Slow practices, long deep breathing, held asanas and meditation are all great before sleep

    Hi Andrew - I’ve recently given birth - 3 weeks, I stopped doing kundalini during pregnancy but now would like to get back into it, I am having a lot of anxiety post birth - would you say this is suitable? Thank you

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, I'm not educated in Yoga for pregnancy or postpartum, so I can't really speak on what is right or wrong to do in this case. However I'm not sure how good Uddiyana Bandha is, if you're still physically recovering from giving birth. What I would recommend most would be working with Muladhara Chakra. This is the Earth center, connected to our vital energy - which gets hugely depleted in the act of creating new life! It's also connected to our feelings of grounding, calm, centeredness, etc. So it will be VERY GOOD to help alleviate anxiety. Also practices working with Muladhara generally focuses on the legs or lower pubic region/pelvic floor. So will be gentle for the abdomen, and some will help to regain muscle tone in the pelvis that may have been lost giving birth.
      I would recommend you check out these classes:

    Why You don't chant ,,ong namo guru dew namo,, at the beggining and ,,sat nam,, at the end?

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you watch any of the classes that I teach, which are kriyas from Yogi Bhajan, you will find that I always open with the Adi Mantra and close with "Sat Nam". However, when I am sharing a kriya that I created, I don't because I don't want to be appropriating something that comes from Yogi Bhajan and the Sikh religion.
