I vividly remember this game. I watched it with my dad and my cousin. I was 11 years old. It was such a long game that i fell to sleep in the second half and woke up in the extra time. I wish Italy had won.
This match was classic 👌. Super Stars on both sides - top top players. It was exhilarating it could have ended on any side both sides deserved to go through, but Les Bleues 🇨🇵 snatched it kudos to the Azzurri 🇮🇹 as well for giving a top performance 👏.

In 2006 France played much better in the final the game that Italy should have won was Euro 2000 Final, in 1998 France had the best opportunities but it was a tense game very even anyway these two teams were looking to each other too much like a mirror, a lot of amazing players as a French i regret that time when those two teams were on their peak always amazing to watch.
