For the guys still crying for the baseball field, yes its a shitty thing to still happen. But the new stadium is being built. It is what it is. With a bad pitch with awful standings for soccer, they still have a very solid amount of fans and play good football on the pitch. Give them a break!

Considerations that go into that decision: Contact into the back was initiated by defender well before the ball was within playing distance, moving attacker away from the path of the ball, unfairly preventing attacker from making a play for the ball, while defender did not make a credible attempt to play the ball himself. 100% PK.
Three problems in this game - the video title sucked (how was this a nail-biter?), NYC sucked, and so did the ref; and I'm not sure which was worse. The red was soft as, and the penalty wasn't a foul by any stretch of imagination so I guess the ref takes the honors.

There was also nobody that was covering Freese. You can really feel how Martins’ and O’Tooles absence had a toll on the match.
