20+ years ago did box work out of SOUTHAMTON FOR TIMMS OF GLOUCESTER,no tacho in cab then good old log book-book of lies i called it! Never work Portbury apart from timber on flats,great doaders back then. Kinda miss it all now.

dont understand why a shipper would use this dock, where do the boats go to from here?

m rowland they make connections into and out of portbury from some the larger European ports like Antwerp Rotterdam etc. Portbury might only be small but its got big aspirations due to having some deep water berths able to handle the new super container ships.

Don't your company pick up the tab for things like passes

Yeah they do as a rule. But if you get caught out paying it twice in a week out of your own pocket it can be expensive, even though you will get it back eventually.
I struggle to see why we should pay at all TBH as not every dock even charges for a pass?
