I hosnestly see it more as a nerf than a buff, poly now relys on the first hit and ambushing prey. Its more fragile, attacks slower and all the damage he doesnt do anymore because of the bad part of the rebalance is slightly reduce because of the strong first hit, for example, old poly probaly could kill the new one in a 1v1, because the dps is bigger for the old one, while this one is like "my dps is only bigger for the first 3 hits) or something aorund that, it having less damage, hp and attack speed simply makes long fights worse than before, i mean, spite is pretty much useless if you cant stop attacking in the middle of the fight, this "rebalance" changed its playstyle from "assult riffle made out of weak metal" to "glass bazuca with a few shots of amo". I prefer the old one because, again, the dps was bigger, atleast in fair fights that are not relying on ambushes. If you think the new one is better im not judging you, im just sharing my opinion and you can disagree with it if you want to, aslong as you dont judge me were even
I mean, in CoS, fair fights are rare unless its organized and most fights are started via ambush, so poly kinda does benefit from that other than that, yeah, this is kinda a nerf. A very subtle one tho
It lost a bit of weight and hp but it got 75% spite, it was more of a buff and a massive buff, poly with 2 voids aggro bloodmoon and spite can now do 2843 dmg with a single hit
