- On February 5, 2024, I had the honor of performing all six Trio Sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach from memory. Now, as a complement to the official livestream, which you can still watch at the following link [th-cam.com/users/liveeK9irE8L...], I will be uploading each Trio Sonata individually. These recordings were made one day before the debut concert on February 4, 2024. I am excited to be able to present each Sonata individually now. You can expect one Sonata per week. I hope you enjoy listening and that I can convince you - if I haven't already - of the incredible music.

Am 05.02.2024 hatte ich die Ehre, alle sechs Triosonaten von Johann Sebastian Bach auswendig aufzuführen. Nun möchte ich als Ergänzung zum offiziellen Livestream, den man unter folgendem Link weiterhin anschauen kann [th-cam.com/users/liveeK9irE8L...], alle Triosonaten einzeln hochladen. Diese habe ich einen Tag vor dem Debütkonzert am 04.02.2024 aufgenommen. Ich freue mich, dass ich nun alle einzeln präsentieren kann. Es erwartet Sie nun im Wochentakt jeweils eine Triosonate. Ohmannomann Jan, es wiedermal erstaunlich mit welcher Leichtigkeit und inneren Freude du die Musik spielst....einfach so, so schwere Musik jeder Ton sagt etwas, unglaublich schön, und das auf einer Nichtdomorgel oder Seelwick oder wieder Kram heißt, der sehr verlockend ist, muss ich zugeben, ne auf einer wunderschönen Orgel..Gratulation und Danke dir Meister..😊😉

Thank you for the diligence and focus in your studies to reach this level of Musical Skill that you are sharing with us. The beauty and complexity of Bach's compositions are given life under your fingers and feet! Thanks too for a video that is focused solely on your presentation and not one that busies itself with the interior of Churches (that might be of interest, but not in this context), nor close ups of the Artist's face etc.
This piece brings back so many happy memories of sitting in the Gunn Chapel, St Patrick's Maynooth, on an autumn evening! Thank you Jan!
This is just about as good as it gets I have been playing these sonatas just about every day!!!! The talent on display is awesome
Amazing how this piece demonstrates, not only your technical skills, but equally your sensitivity of expression: especially in the second movement where you capture a sense of emotion as well as technique.
