Coincidentally buck-tick and Ash Ra Tempel's a song is also known as Schizo,You know imai is a Standard record collectors,so I guess buck-tick maybe Ash Ra Tempel's fans
@wearepolice I wouldn't doubt it. (I've never heard of Ash Ra Tempel, but I will now look into them.) I once found a page that listed individual band members favorite albums. I could have sworn that Atsushi, Hoshino and U-Ta raided my record collection!
Actually, the song is referring to Ashra or Ashura, a being that appears in Japanese and Buddhism mythology. The song was about the Ashura being's state of mind. I think, that's not 'Sheer selfnishness, and, "above" all, Ignorance, and lack of imagination!'.
@cartimand I can't believe the negativity on your comment, except that they strike me more of a T-Rex influence that Roxy Music (Must mean I need to listen to more Roxy! Oh, darn!). I mean, I love this band (Seriously, one roomie asked me to stop playing them!), but I can see how they stand on the shoulders of giants! Does this diminish them? No! Can you see their influences? Yes! This band belongs to Rock, just like Roxy, T-Rex, The Who, Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.
I actually watched the video, and Buck-Tick remind me of a Japanese version of Roxy Music! Nothing like the spaced-out Kosmische Musik of AshRa/Ash Ra Tempel.
And Ash Ra / Ash Ra Tempel have been going since 1970. My point is that it's understandable that punters coming to this page would expect to see some (rare) footage of legendary cosmic rockers AshRa playing live. Perhaps this was meant as a tribute song?
What a disappointment! I thought I was downloading a live performance by Ashra (or better still Ash Ra Tempel). Instead It's a bunch of unknowns called 'Buck-Tick' :-(

whats the problem? Ash-ra/Ashura is a japanese word for Asura(a buddhism god)
Actually, the song is referring to Ashra or Ashura, a being that appears in Japanese and Buddhism mythology. The song was about the Ashura being's state of mind. I think, that's not 'Sheer selfnishness, and, "above" all, Ignorance, and lack of imagination!'.
My God can't believe the ignorance in some of these comments.
