Just a tip. Next you make sinigang, you sautè the garlic, onion and tomato first. Then add the meat, cook until it change color then add fishsauce. If none you can use myeolchi aekjeot. Then add rice stock(hugas bigas) together with your radishand eggplant. Then once the meat is completely cook and the radish can easily cut usjng the spoon, add the sinigang mix and your green leaf veggies. Let it simmer for about 2 mins then serve. Sinigang na gisa is more flavorful than sinigang palaga in my opinion. Hehehe

Addsliced radish, tAro, onion, green pepper. Boil, add such as mustard leaves, or any green leafy vegies. Then pour tamarind powder little by little until it reach enough sourness. Mash taro n mix it again to sinigang. Finally, taste its saltyness according to your satisfaction. It is really delicious. Tnk you ms jessica.

For appetizer pour some fish sauce or patis in tagalog on a small bowl then add 4pcs of calamansi and 4pcs of red chilli ... Try it lodz hndi ka magsisisi mas masarap yan😊😘

There are 4 types of Sinigang in the Philippines. Pork Sinigang, Seafoods Sinigang, Fish Sinigang and Chicken Sinigang, which is also commonly known as "Sinampalukang Manok". However, with Sinampalukan, unlike the other Sinigang, this one have different veggies in it. It just contain tomatoes, raddish and moringga(malunggay) leave instead of spinach(kankong/talbos).

First boiled meat together with onion and tomatoes just the meat more tastier and after that put vegetable like okra and radish eggplant and let it cooks.cause it's a little bit hard to cook. And after that add watered spinash o kangkong. And taste it with seasoning in salt. And for finally the tamarind powder.. that is the correct way of cooking.im a Filipino

Mushrooms have umami and are actually a flavor enhancer according to Chef RV if I’m not mistaken.

You can adjust the sourness of the soup according to your taste ... By putting sinigang mix a little bit 😊☺️😊

I know that feeling when you started tasting your Sinigang and think that it's the best Sinigang you ever cooked. It happens to me everytime I cook mine.
There's no need to pour patis when cooking Sinigang not even a little bit.
But you can crush the chili you cooked with on a platito and pour patis on it, it can serve as the sauce, THE ORIGINAL SINIGANG SAUCE

Saute in oil the pork maybe for about 10mins in garlic and onion first, slightly brown it. Use very small amount of oil. It will taste better. Also, add 1 knorr pork cube.
