    I need to connect 1/4 inch copper piping to PEx pipie in an enclosed area.
    Kindly advise the thichness of PEX pipe equivalent to 1/2 inch & 3/4 inch sizes, and where can I purchase connectors etc in South Africa

      Jeff L there's two types of pex, pex a is great, pex b the home owner stuff I agree is not worth installing

      Copper is actually more corrosive than PEX

      Copper is FAR more corrosive than Pex. Just repiped my house because of pinholes. Nothing worse than waking up to a fresh cup of coffee and a puddle in your kitchen with the ceiling leaking like an old barn. Went with Pex A, bought the Milwaukee tool. Done.
