Mille Lacs!

While about 98% of my paddling and downwinds are on Superior there are at least a couple of other bodies of water in Minnesota that provide downwind opportunities. Mille Lacs is fantastic in that regard as it is a roughly circular lake so wind from any direction can be utilized. The distance across is 15-20 miles (24-32K). We have had some fantastic paddles on Mille Lacs but we feel this was definitely one the best.
