I love how every alternative has a different costume, even if it’s only slightly different, none of them are the same
Honestly, I hate that the costumes are different, it makes it confusing and it throws off the colour palette of the show. Some costumes look very similar to other people's costumes and it gets annoying when you cant tell who is who. That's just my opinion though 😊
Donk I do like the slightly different costumes but I do agree that there are some that are way to close to the other character’s costumes. I think if I saw the musical in person I would have a hard time telling who’s who from the nosebleed section. I wish they would at least keep to the same color scheme at least so it’s more identifiable but I love the costumes anyway.
Yeah, I think I'd enjoy it more if the costumes were the same colour, and had a totally different design from the rest of the costumes on stage. I get that it's easier, but it can make the viewing experience confusing, and for some people less enjoyable. The costumes really help with the show, that's one thing you cant mess up.

I don't mind them changing the design itself, but the color I think it's very important. Not only it distinguishes the character from the others (like for example the blue costume could be confused with Parr, or the brown one with Aragon), but it also works as a pun ("my sleeves may be green but my lipstick's red"). And the same goes for every other queen who's costume gets radically changed.

Tbh its actually interesting to see how many boleyns have the same outfit as the most known Boleyn (Millie O'Connell)
Fun fact! The Boleyns who have different outfits (ie, not green) are alternates or swings - they aren’t the main cast members, if that’s what you mean! If you meant slight costume changes (like a stiffer skirt, slits, etc) than yes - a lot of Boleyns do have that outfit!
every cast of the show has the same costumes as each other’s except for the alternates.

@Marissa .-. yes, ik that though I think singing isn't her strong suit not saying she's bad at singing and to be fair I actually saw a video of them performing west end live in 2018 and she actually hit the *"a story that you think you've heard before"* perfectly, I think most of her performances, weren't as amazing as that one (I'm not hating or downgrading her, I just have my personal preferences)

Andrea is my literally fave hands down,I saw one of the shows she does and brings so much humor and fun to the character of Boleyn ,plus she is short like me and that gives me joy

Me, over here watching for Millie: all of these are amazing, but none can replace the queen in my heart
My top fave Boleyns:
1. Andrea Macasaet- the fact that she's Asian like me makes me love her sm and I love the new way she portrays her character (Bway/North American tour)
2. Millie O'Connell- ofc I had to say Millie (I do think she's a little overrated because all anyone in the queendom talks about is Millie Millie Millie but I love her too) she's just a big bouncing ball of energy (Original West End)
3. Kala Gare- She's literally so funny and her voice is so unique it's much richer and a little deeper than most of the other Boleyns (Australia)
4. Christina Modestou- Her voice is always what I imagine when I think of Boleyn idk but she's amazing (Original cast recording/album)
5. Madison Bulleyment- Similar to Christina, she has a very Boleyn-esque voice to me (UK Tour)
6. Courtney Bowman- Her voice is really good and (little PSA warning) SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THE HATE SHE GETS. YEAH MILLIE'S GREAT BUT COURTNEY IS TOO. I THOUGHT THE QUEENDOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY SUPPORTIVE AND UPLIFTING BUT INSTEAD EVERYONE IS FATSHAMING COURTNEY AND BULLYING HER FOR NOT BEING MILLIE. IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT ALL THE QUEENS THEN YOU'RE NOT REALLY A PART OF THE QUEENDOM. ok I'm done sorry (Replacement West End)
