Love it Simon. I love London, actually in London for work this week so always an excuse to get out and about. Only live 90 minutes away by train so try to get up several times a year. I find the history of the city intriguing. Cheers mate.
Simon, this.was awesome. You took us down memory lane with some of the British stuff. Next time we come back from Australia we are definitely going to visit Greenwich. We remember going to Cutty Sark years ago. We had a hungover breakfast with a gallon cup of tea in Petticoat Lane markets. Delicious is part of your branding now. Definitely keep saying that. Love Jo and Paul xx
Im glad it took you down memory lane jo &paul... great to hear people get enjoyment out of these vlogs... lots more on the way... thanks for watching.. Delicious!!! 😁🇬🇧👍
Walked through the Woolwich foot tunnel some years ago ,in the middle of the day ,it was really quiet and scary. Just realised I answered your question about more tunnels.I think that there is one in Rotherhithe as well.We are local, Love Greenwich. That sweetshop you passed is the best .
Just watching Greenwich again.Didn't realise it was the first one you did ,can tell your'e a South Londoner cos you say Grinich and not Grenich ,we are in Charlton so we do Greenwich a lot.We watch all of your videos ,really enjoyable. The Bishop's Palace in Fulham looks beautiful.😊
I went to Greenwich on a school trip when I was a kid, went on the Cutty Sark too LOL, maybe we crossed paths all those years ago LOL. Nice trip down memory lane, good job Mr Professional :)
Well! Was not expecting to see my stamping ground - I’ve been living in this part of Greenwich for ten years now, how time flies! Fab walk around, you really got the flavour of the place. Re the tunnels: there’s a similar one at Woolwich, and if you wanted to take your life in your hands you can walk through the Rotherhithe tunnel, but every video I’ve ever seen of that, the person regrets it big time due to the traffic fumes 🤪. Up The Creek is definitely still running, and if anyone is ever nearby, just before that is a fab chippie called Jack the Chipper - I once ended up having a great chat with a random Canadian chap in Vegas who it turned out had had fish and chips from there the week before! Looking forward to seeing where you head to next. 😁
Brilliant Simon, I wish I could walk the tunnel but I'm a little claustrophobic so thanks for that. Love Greenwich, especially when the weather is good. There used to be a cracking bakers just outside the market that did pizza by the slice it was delicious! Sadly it's no more.
Thanks for watching Dilly.. yes i can see how you would feel a bit claustrophobic down there... i love Greenwich too... not far from you & me too... cheers 😁🇬🇧👍
Loving these. You are becoming quite professional. I will google Cutty Sark today. To demonstrate my ignorance, when you mentioned heading there I thought you were going to a distillery! I forgot the booze was named after a ship. The tunnel was very interesting and I’m impressed with you taking the stairs on top of the walk. You deserved at least one pastry. We spent most of our time in London shopping at Harrod’s sale and in pubs so getting to see more of the city is fun. Looking forward to your next adventure and the next thing that is deeelicious. I should know better than to watch before I eat.
Thanks Susan.. Harrods is great... perhaps ill do a walkabout there ! And theres so many great pubs in london.. great to here your enjoying the vlogs ... cheers 👍🇬🇧😁
The food! You earned that pastry. Looked like quite the trek under the river and back. Nice tour of the market. Thought I might see a quick shot of you following showgirls, but I guess that’ll have to wait for another city and another channel.
