In case anyone wanted to know, and this info is coming directly from Ron wasserman (created the original mmpr theme, in space and SPD themes) during the "Disney era" atleast, there was an executive at Disney that would ask multiple different bands/composers to produce a theme song for the season, then they would pick which one to use and buy the rights of the song from the artist. There is about 7 or 8 total demo themes during those seasons. Some of them are probably lost to time and we may never get to hear them. Others may randomly surface (such as a recently found demo theme for Dino thunder) at some point in the near future. When the series was bought back by saban in 2010 they decided to make the song in-house by the series composer. So from samurai to beast Morpheus Noam kaniel produced the theme songs The reason for why there are so many rpm demo themes is likely because Disney cancelled the show and the people who made the demos thought they had nothing to lose by releasing their versions of theme song.
Man...it amazes us that Power Rangers RPM has a total of 5 songs before the one we end up getting for the opening of the series and yet ALL THE 5 PREVIOUS ONES SOUND BETTER AND ARE MORE POWER RANGERS-LIKE MUSIC THAN THE ONES WE GOT!!!
I really wish RPM used the first demo theme. Ever since I first heard it, RPM was never the same without it. I really hope they decide to use it for a new season and just tweak it to work.
I think RPM Demo 5 had potential. I really liked it and I think It would have been better than the one we got, but I still like the chosen theme for RPM.
I personally think the one we got was best. It really fit RPM’s tone the best way possible. RPM was a dark, mostly serious season with barely any decent-at-best comic relief, and it was great

The second demo for Mystic Force has a vibe I like, I just don't know if I like it for that team. Operation Overdrive was just a spelling test. The Jungle Fury demo sounds really cool! I'm actually digging the Jungle Fury demo. It's the one time we get a female vocalist in a power rangers theme, but I'm glad with the what we got instead as I think it fits better.
1) SPD Demo was made directly by Ron Wassermann (the same one who made the songs for Mighty Morphin to Turbo, if I remember. Somehow, it has a classic touch of them in the singing voices and rythm. 2) the part in 0:56 fits accurately with the Marvel SuperHero Squad chorus, when you sing it along: "Who'll save the day? Super Hero Squad They'll Hero Up Agaaaaaaaain.... (Super Hero Squad, Hero up!!)"

RPM demo 1 will always be the official theme of the series to me, it's so good! Fun fact, RPM demo 4 was performed by Danny Sexbang of Ninja Sex Party.
My opinion of the demos: Wild force: I heard after the ending of Time Force and it really make me watch it. SPD: Well, there’s not so much difference, I like it but I love the one that it was used. Between the two demos of Mystic force: I LOVE rock n roll, but I have to go with the second one, it gave me vibes of Batman Beyond and W.I.T.C.H. THIS should have been the intro theme. Operation overdrive: I’m indifferent on that one, and is not one of my favorites. Jungle Fury: I love it, mainly because of the voice of the singer. RPM 1: Sound it like Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance RPM 2 & 3: Both have a good sound, but it lacks of something that doesn’t convince me RPM 4: It’s better compare to 2 & 3. RPM 5: I FREAKING LOVE METAL WITH TECHNO MUSIC. That song kick ass
Oh, wow. Overdrive was sooooooo much worse than the final version. Both Mystic Force themes are good, as are S.P.D. and Wild Force. I like the first R.P.M. demo theme, but the others... kind of feel like they're trying a bit too hard. The second one is pretty much screaming Super Sentai. I mean, I like the final version itself, though it could have more rhythm, but it fits the actual show's tone way better. A lot of the demos are trying too hard to feel "happy".

In my opinion, the Wild Force Demo is criminally underrated!!!!
I feel like the official themes for mystic force and operation overdrive are a bit underated.
The second Mystic Force demo could've made for an awesome theme for Season 2.

The Wild Force intro had that unique blend of Lightspeed and Time Force. I forget if Saban entertainment made it or Disney but I get the feeling that explains whey Samurai/Megaforce ended with the same rhythm.
for the RPM demos i guarantee that the only reason they didn't use them was because, at least for the ones with Dan Avidan on vocals was because they didn't want to credit the singer from a band called Ninja Sex Party. grow a pair Disney

RPM demo 1 will always be the official theme of the series to me, it's so good! Fun fact, RPM demo 4 was performed by Danny Sexbang of Ninja Sex Party.

My opinion of the demos:
Wild force: I heard after the ending of Time Force and it really make me watch it.
SPD: Well, there’s not so much difference, I like it but I love the one that it was used.
Between the two demos of Mystic force: I LOVE rock n roll, but I have to go with the second one, it gave me vibes of Batman Beyond and W.I.T.C.H. THIS should have been the intro theme.
Operation overdrive: I’m indifferent on that one, and is not one of my favorites.
Jungle Fury: I love it, mainly because of the voice of the singer.
RPM 1: Sound it like Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance
RPM 2 & 3: Both have a good sound, but it lacks of something that doesn’t convince me
RPM 4: It’s better compare to 2 & 3.
RPM 5: I FREAKING LOVE METAL WITH TECHNO MUSIC. That song kick ass

Oh, wow. Overdrive was sooooooo much worse than the final version. Both Mystic Force themes are good, as are S.P.D. and Wild Force. I like the first R.P.M. demo theme, but the others... kind of feel like they're trying a bit too hard. The second one is pretty much screaming Super Sentai. I mean, I like the final version itself, though it could have more rhythm, but it fits the actual show's tone way better. A lot of the demos are trying too hard to feel "happy".

Why do all of the RPM demo themes pop-punk?
I'm guessing that's what early 2000s through late 2000s music was like given how Blink-182, Simple Plan, Sum 41, Jimmy eat world, and MCR were all popular around that time. I guess Disney wanted to cash in on that pop punk market.
The 2nd mystic force theme sounds like Ron Wasserman was messing around in garage band and came up with that in an hour
that's kind of because he was, after being told they liked what he originally made but was told that they wanted a rap song he came up with that which iirc he himself states wasn't great

This is the first time I heard the 5th demo theme of RPM. I thought it was better than the first 4.
