Thanks Rakesh. I use a knot similar to the Albright knot. But instead of 10 turns down I do 7 down and 5 up. I hope it makes sense.

Amazing that you were able to cover the most important aspects in just over 3 mins without any unnecessary waffle. Are you using a full length braid leader (1.5 rod length) joined to the mainline with a FG knot ?

Thanks Harold. Yes I did use 1.5 rod length braid leader and joined to the mainline with modified double uniknot. I stopped using braid leaders when fishing for edibles. I now just use a 1.5m mono leader. Found that I got more pulls when not using the braid leader.

Why braid and braid leader and fluoro and then hooksnoot? Why fluoro onto leader?

Hi Fazludin, I like fishing with braid as it's more sensitive than mono, there is no stretch in braid so you don't have to pull forever to break off, and when u break off it's 99% of the time your hook or sinker. Braid leader gives your braid top shot protection if you cast over a mussel bed or if a fish takes u into the rocks. I like n short piece of mono between the leader and trace to keep the braid leader from tangling with your swivel and trace in rougher water. Hope it makes sense.

Any time
