Martin Dies, Jr State Park

On our quest to visit as many state parks as we can, we visited Martin Dies, Jr. It is a good sized park with a huge lake. The biking and hiking trails are all fairly easy and well maintained. The canoes are easy to rent from the Headquarters and easy to launch. The park is kept very clean. It was a bit cool out, so we didn't see much wildlife. The campsites are pretty good sized, and as usual, come with a picnic table and fire ring.
