i am an australian and remembered watching that match early in the morning. It was so hard to find a streaming site so i thought about not watching it. At half time i was about delete the tab when i thought i woke up so early to watch this i should just watch the hole game. Boy i am so glad a watched the hole game
When the commentator screams "OHHH THEY'VE DONE IT!".... gets me every time. I completely lost control when that happened. Pure euphoria.
I always have to rewind that bit at least 5 times. In tears every time I watch it, what a night!!.
I am a huge tottenham fan. i just remember watching lucas complete his hat trick and then me falling to the ground. i was yelling and crying. greatest feeling ever. Nothing compares to it. Dele Alli is my all time favorite player so watching him give the assist to win the game was magical! COYS

That decision right there was the beginning of the end for Poch. As great as Kane was, he was not 100% for the final. Poch should’ve gone with Moura, who was white hot. I wouldn’t have cared about how much Kane would’ve whined and cried, you go with the guy who has the momentum in a game that big. And as we saw, Kane was nonexistent against Liverpool while Moura would’ve given them a chance
I cried like a baby, immediately dropped to the floor and put myself in fetal position. Lucas Moura will forever have a place in my heart.

My teacher who is an ajax fan said to the whole year:the game is going to end and its 3:2 on aggregate and I had watched the first half before school and then thought wow we got 2 back but my teacher thought the game had ended and when I looked online to see the score I was just speechless.

What a silly arse I am. Nearly 70 years old, and watching this video with those clips from the game, especially the last few moments and listening to those testimonies, and I'm a blubbering wreck all over again. I've seen Spurs win European trophies but I have never experienced anything quite like that night in Amsterdam. Priceless.

A night a will never forget. I hardly slept, my throat hurt but it all didn't matter because that moment made me so happy the team I love did it, they were in the final of the champions league

My God that was a memorable night as a Spurs fan - I remember nearly switching it off at half time when I heard Ajax playing "Three Little Birds" at 2-0 up and thinking I hope the Spurs players hear how complacent Ajax are being and give it everything in the second half. I said to myself if Ajax score again I knew it would be over so I forced myself to watch, anticipating Ajax scoring early in the 2nd half and our player's heads dropping and then switching off the match in defeat...what happened next was truly incredible.

He got another 4 months because he made the final despite doing pretty horribly in the league and he continued to get worse. We needed Jose Mourinho and he will take a while to fix the mess Poch created. We need to get rid of the average and below average Argentine players and stick with a solid formation and for crying out loud Poch not starting Lucas because he was Brazilian was a joke just because of the argentine brazil rivalry. I lived in England for a year back in the eighties in Nottingham when Forrest was really good so I somewhat root for them. But unlike most Americans, I understand the culture and realize that the most passionate American football fans will never equal passion of the fans of Dag & Red, Tranmere Rovers, etc. to mention nothing of the premier teams. About 6 months ago I saw the highlights for the first time of the game. I'd only known the score as I work at night so I didn't know anything about it. Since then I have watched the highlights or extended highlights 100 times, the full game which I finally found probably 20 times and at least a hundred videos of fans going crazy. To me it is the most exciting moment in sports EVER! I never get enough of it and I found this one yesterday even before it had been released and so here I am. I am now a Tottenham Hotspur fan!!

Sorry but I can't see how winning a semi-final of the Champions League is better than winning a trophy. It's just a semi final and it only matters if you go on and win the competition. I can remember exactly where I was when Ricky Villa scored in the replay against Man City, I can recall Tony Parks saving the penalty to win the UEFA cup, Gazza's free kick against Arsenal which was followed by going on to win the FA Cup in 91 against Forest, Ledley King lifting the League cup every single one of those moments are etched in my memory as a Spurs fan and they MATTER. It was a fantastic night but for anyone who has seen Spurs lift a trophy to say it was better than any of those moments needs a check up from the neck up. Nobody remembers the losing finalists and history only rewards the winners and footballers measure their success by what they won and the medals they got for winning.

To me, watching this game is like reading a book backwards. I already know the ending and it's really really s***.
In 35 years this was my best feeling as a Spurs fan, ever since our legendary feats of 99', when we lifted aloft the world famous Worthington Cup and again in 08' when Woodgate hit that incredible strike with his eyeball to give us the win.
This was such an amazing game, almost like a movie script, but the final kills it for me...totally wipes the gloss off. This was just a semi final, we need to forget it and stop acting like it was a final.....another runners up medal to put with our Audi Cup trophy.👍
