@@ashleyroemer640 she was. Like Nia and Camryn, for whatever reason the show tried to frame her as a weak dancer when she had an amazing foundation being strong and flexible and was mesmerizing on stage.
The only reason Maesi wasn't shining on that team was because Abby was holding her back with crappy choreography. Maesi can do everything, she is well rounded. Just look at her Stone Cold dance. Amazing is not even the word to describe how good she really was. It was insanely difficult and she executed beautifully. Maybe if Abby gave her choreography like that, she would have beat everyone on that team.

I personally think that Masei mom made the best decision. She didn't stay and let Abby destroy her love for dance and self worth that Abby like to destroy. That Money & fame wasn't the main reason she was there like other families.
I will never understand why Abby didn’t play to the girls Strengths. She was always trying to prove a point and make them look bad. Why have this wide variety of dancers if you’re not going to utilize them.
I’m so sorry but Maesi is better than both Elliana and Lilliana. If you don’t believe me watch her stone cold solo. Abby gives maesi the worst choreography and maesi would beat everyone on the dance team, even Kalani if she had the same choreography as she did before.
Just let you know her technique is not near as good as elli and lilly. Cold stone is a solo for a rig competition. Maesi is flexible, she likes tricks, gymnastics but her technique wasn’t good bc she had no ballet, strength, turns. Her control is lacking. Cold stone is full of tricks. She attended the dance awards and never even got into the top 33, she placed 7th at hall of fame regional. She’s a great dancer for competitions that are not top prestigious. Not saying Maesi isn’t good but she’s no Lilly and Elli, she’s just Maesi who is a great dancer on her own
How are you so confused? What mother would want to stay at a dance class where the teacher says that your daughter will never be as good as the other girls to her face. Abby said terrible things to the girls then acted like it was the mothers fault for finally having enough and taking their child somewhere else

Exactly! So many styles of dance, but like 90% of the dances were lyrical. Abby did what was comfortable for Abby, not what was best for each kid.

Not true Elliana won TDA mini best dancer and was Clara in the nutcracker. Although Maesi is a great dancer she is no way better than Elliana.
