Since the main event title picture on both brands are very packed, I don’t think AJ will hold a world championship again.
He’s gonna have a Roman and or Cena match art time schedule while still being paid a lot of money.

I think that would be a great story for AJ. Him struggling to keep up with the younger and more athletic guys. It’s just a simple story that I think a lot of fans will buy into knowing how long AJ has been in the business and his age.
AJ really prides himself on his in ring and being able to go at a high level. That diminishing and him getting frustrated but then ultimately accepting it is a great story to tell imo.

I am 19 now and AJ came to WWE in 2016
That was the first time l saw him
I instantly became invested on what AJ was doing because l loved the aura and his previous music was a banger (l hope that it comes back)
Then as l grew older l searched AJ then l came to know that he made his name in TNA and NJPW and also l saw all the bullet club videos where he was with Kenny, Luke, Karl,Prince,Young bucks and he is involved in TNA having its only 5 star match l mean what AJ did on both shows is PHENOMENAL
He is a true definition of a guy known to be a true wrestling hall of famer whether in TNA, NJPW or WWE
He deserves everything IMO

He really did exceed expectations didn’t he. I remember when he came in and having doubts over whether they would truly use him in a prominent way and boy did they.
I just wish that wwe booked AJ to win MITB or royal rumble before he eventually retires but now I think it’s too late for that.

What I would change with this is id have Aj kick out of the 3 cross rhodes. Only to make it more shocking for the fans. Also I’d have Aj win a couple of matches on a random smackdown or raw to build him up for that last wwe title run because u really need to make it look like Aj actually has a chance. Now I’m not saying beat EVERYONE on smackdown or raw but a good couple of talents during his build up to his last match. basically people that he has history with that can afford a loss to him. So id say one last match against balor, orton and Cena(both orton and Cena can afford a loss to Aj), maybe a Sami zayn, etc… really sell the fact that Aj is really retiring and so he’s giving all the best matches possible and the best build up possible for his last match against Cody.
