Then selected j dub and chet in the same draft. Presti is absolutely one of the greatest gms of all time and his championship will come soon.

Yes Shai gets more attention because he has pieces around him which makes his team better but he’d still be an all nba level performer on a shitty team.
Right now he is far from a flawless player. He is still easy to guard in a half court set. He is playing off athleticism but that will change very soon. Imagine him coming off the dribble handoff, or being the primary post player, or even the ball handler on the pick&roll. Anthony Edwards is an example of a player who can do both and he drew comparisons to Jordan. If OKC runs plays for Williams and allows him to grow in the half court set, a superstar will be born. But how can you do that with Shai dominating the ball? That means Williams will be traded for pieces that fit Shai.

He’s not the pick and roll player of decision maker that other guys at his position like Booker and Mitchell are. Playmaking is one of Dub’s biggest strengths tho.

Literally Mike Conley was Wolves guy to run their offense and they just drafted a rookie. Ant himself said he worked on his off ball 3’s this off season exactly for that reason. Dub has been in tons of games running the Bench unit or closing the game successfully bringing the ball up. Ant might be the more explosive offensive player but Dub is the more complete player. There’s a reason Ant said the most underrated guy in the league is Dub
