I just wanted to thank you for reading all of these books. Listening to the word of God means a great deal to me and i have learned so much. These books, in my opinion, were removed falsely by man, not the Lord. King James was responsible for many, many evil deeds. This is a fantastic book! Genesis seems like a summary, obviously a divine summary of what went on. This book is so specific and it really brings everything to life. I can’t get enough of it.
Rome did not include many texts when they assembled the Bibles. In fact, they banned, burned, and buried them. Which Jesus foretold by his life, death, and resurrection. Bcuz He showed us Rome would crucify the Truth. Which they did in the early centuries. He showed us the Word would lay in the tomb as dead until the third symbolic day. it contradicts scripture in many places. Mostly it seems like a mishmash of all the old testament stories including anachronistic stories. I have deep reservations about it
@@jawanauselton9197 the book of genesis contradicts itself lol that is literally the book that people tend to ignore because it makes the least sense to most people, the first couple of chapters have 2 creation narratives and there are 2 flood narratives. You have to compare the septuigant, the targum and the kjv just to get a clear picture. jasher atleast gives more context. Especially to the life of Abraham. Its more consistent with satans and his schemes. The tower of babel is actually explained.

Sometimes this confusion occurs when more than one account is given for a single event where there are two or more perspectives. It is not a contradiction that the animals entered the ark two by two if there were seven couples of several kinds. None of what people call contradictions are that at all! They are misunderstood passages. Genesis is suppose to be the simplest book of the Bible. And there is one creation regardless of how many times somebody wants to tell it. Plus, there was one Great Flood no matter how many times we hear the story.

Thank you so much for this audio book. It helps me understand the bible more by filling in the missing gaps. Occasionally some churches may speak of it when explaining the life of Jacob. This book should be used in all Christian services.
This book is truly very enlightening and illuminating and answers so many questions and explains so much. (I can't believe it was omitted from the Bible, especially as it is specifically referenced in it several times! Almost all of the so-called "non-canonical" and apocryphal books seem to be just as good, if not even better, than those of the Bible, and truly should have been included therewith.)

What if the story we read in the 66 books is just a snap shots of events that happened. And these extra books just give you more detail to the story because the main storyline or the main points are still consistent for instance, the fact that his brothers went to Egypt because of the famine is consistent the fact that their father did not send them back for quite some time until after they ran out of food the stolen cup was found in the youngest bag the dinner that Joseph ate with his brothers the extra gift that his younger brother received from Joseph and the fact that Joseph did not reveal himself until after Judah volunteered to stay both could be true that he revealed himself through love and out of fear because at the end of the day Joseph wanted to see if his brother had truly changed and repented and the test was still consistent to see if Judah would be willing to voluntarily stay for his brother and that's when Joseph would reveal himself and that's consistent.

The ending of this book was quite interesting. Boys being born of the women of Israel taken to the field and given 2 stones, that turned into milk and honey, long hair for hiding them and the Earth hold them to release them years later. The book of Jasher gave more information to the stories that are in the book of Genesis. I wish all these "lost" scriptures were in one book with the scriptures we are familiar with.
Right. Except, there are a lot more than three texts that make up the Rejected Testament. Plus, these weren't lost as much as they were banned by Rome. We have probably recovered about a hundred. But some say there were originally 777 books!

I am reading through Jasher and comparing with King James. The accounts in Jasher are more colorful and King James more in line with known documentations and archeological backups. How do you approach these characters in Jasher, as historically relevant? Jasher is a very good read. Thank you.
Now that i have read Jubilees I have to say that while Jasher is geneolicaly correct and the order of things that happended are correct , however the details of it all do have discrepancies. So in going back and forth between the two books ( Jubilee and Jasher ) its been made clear to me that while Jasher is mostly correct the characters and the order that things happened, the details are not accurate. Obviously because Jasher was written by a Man with the knowledge he obtained through scripture and through word of mouth by other prophets. And Jubilee is written by an Angel on Mt. Sainai . So Jubilees is actually 100% accurate seeing it came directly from the heavenly tables . GOD truely is AMAZING AND ALL GLORIOUS AND POWERFUL.

The damage the Roman Catholic church did to believers is staggering. Not just believers , everyone. Chapter 56:13 states that Jacob commanded that the Levites were to carry the ark of the covenant to his burial site, but the ark was not built until over 400 years after Jacobs death. The Ark of the Covenant was built in the time of Moses during the Exodus from Egypt. Am I reading this incorrectly?

This series is very enjoyable, however book 4 verse 13 refers to the Ark of the Covenant, not many years after the Israelites are living in Egypt. As far as the Bible, Scriptures don't speak of the Ark of the Covenant until after the Israelites have left Egypt. Just something to think about 🙂
Jacob (Israel) spoke a prophecy about the Israelites being in bondage and leaving Egypt. Jacob (Israel) died in Egypt and told Joseph to bury him in the tomb in the mountain that he owned and this was long before Moses was born. God gave the instructions to Moses to build the Arc of the covenant after. Please tell me the scripture that Jacob was to have instructed the Israelites that you mentioned?

Average American, please look at the original statement. According to the reading of the 4th book of Jasher verse 13 the Ark of the Covenant is mentioned before the appointed time in scriptures. I am not debating, I am just making an observation. The one who wrote the words or that was reading them may have made an error. I've read/listened to a few extra-biblical books (and will probably finish this one), but this part of Jasher 1:33:37 doesn't line up with what the bible says. *In Jasher* Juda and etc... accuse Joseph of setting them up, throw a rock, and threaten to destroy Egypt. Joseph contends and pretty much backs down. *In Bible* The exact opposite happens. Juda and etc.... are scared, bow before Joseph and placate him. He reveals his identity because of love/compassion... not fear like in Jasher. (Gen 44 & 45) The Bible is not God, and God is not the Bible (He's much more). However, The Bible is a great measure. If another work contradicts it, I will listen to it, look for anything of value in it, but will ultimately hold The Bible as the authority over it.
The bible is what men agreed upon in the end.. That's why we read the texts with the assistance of the holy spirit that will help us connect the dots and get relevant information..

These books, in my opinion, were removed falsely by man, not the Lord. King James was responsible for many, many evil deeds. This is a fantastic book! Genesis seems like a summary, obviously a divine summary of what went on. This book is so specific and it really brings everything to life. I can’t get enough of it.
Rome did not include many texts when they assembled the Bibles. In fact, they banned, burned, and buried them. Which Jesus foretold by his life, death, and resurrection. Bcuz He showed us Rome would crucify the Truth. Which they did in the early centuries. He showed us the Word would lay in the tomb as dead until the third symbolic day. But then like the Messiah, the Light would rise from the grave! #DeadSeaScrolls1947
it contradicts scripture in many places. Mostly it seems like a mishmash of all the old testament stories including anachronistic stories. I have deep reservations about it

You have to compare the septuigant, the targum and the kjv just to get a clear picture. jasher atleast gives more context. Especially to the life of Abraham. Its more consistent with satans and his schemes. The tower of babel is actually explained.

Sometimes this confusion occurs when more than one account is given for a single event where there are two or more perspectives. They are misunderstood passages. Genesis is suppose to be the simplest book of the Bible. And there is one creation regardless of how many times somebody wants to tell it. (I can't believe it was omitted from the Bible, especially as it is specifically referenced in it several times! What if the story we read in the 66 books is just a snap shots of events that happened. And these extra books just give you more detail to the story because the main storyline or the main points are still consistent for instance, the fact that his brothers went to Egypt because of the famine is consistent the fact that their father did not send them back for quite some time until after they ran out of food the stolen cup was found in the youngest bag the dinner that Joseph ate with his brothers the extra gift that his younger brother received from Joseph and the fact that Joseph did not reveal himself until after Judah volunteered to stay both could be true that he revealed himself through love and out of fear because at the end of the day Joseph wanted to see if his brother had truly changed and repented and the test was still consistent to see if Judah would be willing to voluntarily stay for his brother and that's when Joseph would reveal himself and that's consistent.

The ending of this book was quite interesting. Boys being born of the women of Israel taken to the field and given 2 stones, that turned into milk and honey, long hair for hiding them and the Earth hold them to release them years later. The book of Jasher gave more information to the stories that are in the book of Genesis. I wish all these "lost" scriptures were in one book with the scriptures we are familiar with.
Right. Except, there are a lot more than three texts that make up the Rejected Testament. Plus, these weren't lost as much as they were banned by Rome. We have probably recovered about a hundred. But some say there were originally 777 books!

Now that i have read Jubilees I have to say that while Jasher is geneolicaly correct and the order of things that happended are correct , however the details of it all do have discrepancies. So in going back and forth between the two books ( Jubilee and Jasher ) its been made clear to me that while Jasher is mostly correct the characters and the order that things happened, the details are not accurate. Obviously because Jasher was written by a Man with the knowledge he obtained through scripture and through word of mouth by other prophets. And Jubilee is written by an Angel on Mt. Sainai . So Jubilees is actually 100% accurate seeing it came directly from the heavenly tables . GOD truely is AMAZING AND ALL GLORIOUS AND POWERFUL.

Chapter 56:13 states that Jacob commanded that the Levites were to carry the ark of the covenant to his burial site, but the ark was not built until over 400 years after Jacobs death. The Ark of the Covenant was built in the time of Moses during the Exodus from Egypt. Am I reading this incorrectly?
You are, there are lots of question marks over the authenticity of this book. It only appear in the 17th century and has other contradictions with the Bible, Moses splits the sea in 12 vs in 2 in the Bible. View this with an air of caution

This series is very enjoyable, however book 4 verse 13 refers to the Ark of the Covenant, not many years after the Israelites are living in Egypt. As far as the Bible, Scriptures don't speak of the Ark of the Covenant until after the Israelites have left Egypt. Just something to think about 🙂

Jacob (Israel) spoke a prophecy about the Israelites being in bondage and leaving Egypt. Jacob (Israel) died in Egypt and told Joseph to bury him in the tomb in the mountain that he owned and this was long before Moses was born. God gave the instructions to Moses to build the Arc of the covenant after. Please tell me the scripture that Jacob was to have instructed the Israelites that you mentioned?

Average American, please look at the original statement. According to the reading of the 4th book of Jasher verse 13 the Ark of the Covenant is mentioned before the appointed time in scriptures. I am not debating, I am just making an observation. The one who wrote the words or that was reading them may have made an error. We are to follow the truth and the Truth is God not me nor is it any man. Jesus said that All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So none is perfect this includes me, you and All of man kind. Yes this includes All ministers in this world also. Jesus said that My father teaches those that He gives to Me. I've read/listened to a few extra-biblical books (and will probably finish this one), but this part of Jasher 1:33:37 doesn't line up with what the bible says.
*In Jasher*
Juda and etc... accuse Joseph of setting them up, throw a rock, and threaten to destroy Egypt. Joseph contends and pretty much backs down.
*In Bible*
The exact opposite happens. Juda and etc.... are scared, bow before Joseph and placate him. He reveals his identity because of love/compassion... not fear like in Jasher.

The Bible is not God, and God is not the Bible (He's much more). However, The Bible is a great measure. If another work contradicts it, I will listen to it, look for anything of value in it, but will ultimately hold The Bible as the authority over it.
