    Not sure how the temperature control was on both smokers but if you have 2 smokers cooking at the same temperature the only way one is cooking faster is if the temps are spiking or swinging. 225° is 225°. 👍🏼

    It looks like the LSG has more smoke, and does that rack on bottom of the LSG slide out? I'm looking at both of these pits and want something that has better features. Seems like the LSG cooks faster and more evenly. If the LSG went faster why did you leave them on for the same time? When they are done they are done so competition style doesn't matter.

    • @SouthernCoastalCookingTM

  • @DeadBrokeBBQ
    @DeadBrokeBBQ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

    I know this wasn’t scientific Joe but you said the same thing about the LSG cooking faster on the biscuit test. So that tells me you might as well ditch that Yoder so you can spend more time with the family instead of waiting on that Yoder to play catch up!! Haha Obviously those Louies were almost done on the LSG when you added the touch up rub but I think your next comparison cook off you need to start a stop watch on both and cook them to probe tender so you can see who finishes first. Plus that LSG seems to on video be producing way more smoke and that is very impressive and great to hear you notice it as well. I know you are having fun with this and you love your Yoder but from what I have seen here and on Facebook the LSG is the team to beat. Thanks for sharing!

    I’ll take the Yoder rib all day long I want to see a bite. LSG don’t like my rib meat fall apart and mush

      If I had not been cooking them just by time I would have pulled the LSG ribs off earlier

      @@SouthernCoastalCookingTM I own a YS640 and one thing I will say is that LSG definitely produces more smoke than the Yoder by a long shot. With that said I’m not sure that’s good ord bad as to much smoke can be bitter on the food.

      From the few cooks I have had I would say the LSG puts out a little more smoke flavor but now a whole lot

      @@bbqbandit3453 you will never over smoke anything on a pellet grill, never. Those ribs on the LSG obviously were done when Joe added a little touch up rub. My guess a lot of fellas are going to be posting their Yoder’s on Facebook market place real soon.
