Can you try using a t-connector instead of a bent PVC? The concept would be using ventouili which might offer a steady stream of powder. The opposite of the t-connector would be from your air gun which is split to provide air to the base of your powder hopper I like the idea of liquifying the powder. through the airation at the base. Maybe a valve maybe be needed to regulate the air when you liquify the powder. I noticed that when you shake the jar the volume of powder changes. Perhaps combining ventoli principle would clean up the nozzle and provide a more consistent stream and volume of powder. Perhaps the air at the bottom of the canister should only be sufficient to suspend the powder and not be the main force to push the powder out. I appreciate your content.
Hi. The system you described is exactly how the professional powder coating gun works. There is air supply to "fluidize" the air in the container then the air is being sucked and delivered to the gun via venturi in what they call the powder pump. I have looked on the cut-out photos of commercial powder pump venturi and I think it is complicated to replicate by DIY. There is some kind of restriction to where the powder meet the air stream for that to work effectively. I do plan to buy a Chinese knock out powder pump for my next gun version so that we can all see how they work. You are correct that the volume of powder going out is not consistent. In my next videos, I found out that the moisture in my air supply is causing the powder to clump together and thus I would need to shake the jar from time to time.
it is a food container. I bought it in the food storage section in the grocery store. But it is a bit too big so in subsequent videos you see me change it out to a smaller plastic jar. On earlier version I used a small fertilizer jar. check out this video: th-cam.com/video/lsJmoMeGfrs/w-d-xo.html
Look forward to the test, tidy design :-)
Thanks and I will surely make a follow up video as soon as possible

What is that plastic hopper bottle meant to be used for normally? Doesn't look like a food container. Is it something medical?
