Nice to see they are using the five SDA2 model Rice Burners (88 class), not a popular loco up that way I am told. Seldom see footage of them posted. They sound much quieter than the NSW SDA1's too even though they have the same German prime mover as the SDA1.
@@australiantrains8988 thanks, I caught them on a few different occasions in the Burdekin Region so there's a few more videos of them in the way. They seemed to just be used on the bulk sugar trains along with the 83's. Not sure what they are used for outside of sugar season!

I don't know. There has to be something more interesting in life to do than filming a train going by.
