Glad to see what a stunning career Freddie Weller has. I remember him from typing class, Murphy High School, from the fifties and sixties. He was seemed so shy. Love that he has such success as an entertainer. Jerry Langley

Believe it or not, and no one has made the comment that this recording is mistakenly thought that Merle Haggard is singing this. There is a CD out there live by Merle haggard and this actual recording is song number three on that cd. There are no liner notes stating that it’s some other artist. Punch it in on TH-cam and you’ll see. Merle haggard, games people play live and you’ll get this version. I don’t understand why a mistake like this ever even happened. Yes on TH-cam you can expect this but not on an actual CD and it’s not a bootleg.

Damn Straight buddy, my Dad has that album. I believe its a live at Church Street recording with Games People Play by Freddie in the middle, I cant remember the name of the CD but it was an Orange colour label on the disc.
