In his case the most likely reason is that due to not having a US SSN or even ITIN, bro is paying taxes to the CRA in Canada, thinking they're the IRS, mixed up with the US Treasury. I make pretty good music myself and to keep it real, it pisses me off when I have individuals that try to downplay me as an artist simply because I don’t glorify the foolishness in my music. People on the outside don’t really understand how it feels to be an artist who puts their all into their craft only for it to be under appreciated and overlooked in favor of the meaningless garbage that sells. I think he puts to many bars in his songs. he’s not super relatable.
My issue with dax is his misguided views he spits and makes it sound like he's some kind smart guy. The electric car line was straight conspiracy theory BS, and wanting god in schools? It's like you purposely turn a blind eye to one of the core tenants of our constitution. He has the most cringey "iamverysmart" rap. We're not against "thought provoking rap" we against ignorance. He's got skills, he's just.. cringey.
Finally found someone that sees through this. This genre and group of people do tend to have good intentions and good points but then go to unrealistic scenarios that are exaggerated and then become just as bad as the people (aka the far right) they are trying to rebel against.

Albeit I'm not the biggest fan of Dax's, this is the best and realest verse Dax has spat in my candid opinion. I give credit where credit is due. The weather scheme, economy scheme, Method Man reference, wrestling videogame reference, and the politics scheme were dope.

I think that may have been one of the hardest hitting songs ever, let alone verses Mr. Knight. The only other one I can think of at the moment is Johnny Cash's song "Hurt", but that's a totally different vibe and way different subject matter.
