I'm running a summoner class with Insulation Driver necklace (gives haste and 15% damage when bulwark is active) combined with the the ring that gives bulwark stacks per summon. So as long as I have at least 1 summon have 100% up time on haste/+15% damage/bulwark.
I've been playing this way with soul link for bosses that give me a hard time. I'll probably use this build for nightmare run. I'm leveling archetypes and getting archon on veteran currently.
The Handler dog gives a buff where you get a certain percentage of Life steal back as health, also rings that give lifesteal any one of those would work because every time you hit an enemy a small percentage comes back to you as health no matter how big or how small it would trigger it for as long as you're fighting the buff is up
I use a melee build. Insulation driver gives haste when bulwark is active, I use a ring whoch gives 2 stacks when I hit a melee which then gives haste aswell
I love that there are a bunch of different methods to get permanent haste. Using the ring that limits your health to 50% of max and the deaths embrace amulet is another way. Great for damage reduction builds that build around that 50% max health ring.
Theres an amulet that grants bonus to all damage and gives haste as long as you have a stack of bulwark. There just so happens to be a ring that gives a stack of bulwark for each archetype summon so that makes handler have infinite haste and +15% to all damage

I always have the buff up from that ring. I stripped off all gear and removed all trait points, removed secondary archetype, and tried all archetypes as a primary, and I always have the haste buff up while wearing this ring. I thought maybe because I was receiving healing in town, so I injured myself, and have no health regeneration. Appears the ring is bugged, and does not need anything special to activate it.
This was exciting when I was new, but it does not make the cut on literally any build. I stopped thinking about ot hundreds of hours ago. Its a decent concept, youre JUST slightly faster than the game expects. But these are all things that are manageable with your skill and experience. No amount of practice is going to increase your critical damage or give you health recovery, so these types of stats will always get priority in a build
playing alchemist invader bow build i taught about this ring cause it work naturaly with the regrowth trait but i sadly ended up with it aint good enough at least for me
I’ve done the haste strat with regen from heart but it’s weak, honestly. Try a moon bow build with archers ring & draw time decrease, 6k dps with invader’s auto dodge. Easy
You dont even need the support dog. Just max out summoner class so you can get health regen trait. Put one point into the trait and viola easy access to haste on any class. Or even just use the regen concoction.
@@McJizzleBerriesyou can’t use every stat at the same time, which is why this ring falls off pretty bad. The issue is that you have two options in builds, either fixing your builds weaknesses (reload speed on merciless) or building survivability/damage. A utility ring like this that doesn’t immediately have a massive benefit to one thing just isn’t worth it with the limited slots
@@biggiecheese2004 big disagree. when I'm running around finding items I want faster movement, higher stamina, bigger scrap gains (amulet) and anything that just makes the game feel better to play. I'll swap to broken dps builds for tougher bosses and go back. HASTE provides exactly what I want in most games I play and would be broken if it were more than 7% buff.

Traquil heart relic/reserve boost ring (hp regen ring) also triggers it. 100% uptime even when at max hp

Great video! You could use the life steal trait, but I believe it does require you to not be full hp to trigger the effect.

So with the handler, is the dog a summon?! Do you think the turrets on engineer count as summons too? If so this is really dope.
@@sirfrancois8888 yup they count. There's a ring that causes summons to lifesteal enemies to heal you and it works when the dog and turret attacks

U can also use the ring that heals while sprinting with the haste ring

It’s not worth, 7% just isn’t good enough compared to some of the more broken rings like Generator loop or Shield ring

It works, but it is not as reliable since it only works if you are not full hp.

@@ScottF_117 No regen always triggers the effect even when full hp. I tested it myself and the game sees lifesteal differently as health regen

What does the Hast Buff?
It buffs your action speed so for example it speeds up your fire rate, consumable use speed, cast speed, reload speed, movement, etc
Does life steal count ?
It does, but my issue with it is that it only works when you aren't full hp
