I’m trying to do a similar thing with chayula and ideally automate an essence drain contagion loop to make all of my damage chill and freeze, and hopefully use the physical damage component of flicker to generate energy shield via mana leech. Not sure if it will all fit and function, but I figured if all else fails I can at least have flicker as a movement skill in an ed&c setup for faster mapping. Also looking at maybe a detonate dead poison stacking setup as an alternative for bossing if either of the first two falls flat.
I wish that Armor ascendancy point said something akin to "evade as though you have 40% less evasion" so it doesn't have anti-synergy with Ghost Shrouds/Queen of the Forest
Neural on Bell is a very easy and cheap way to build up charges wholesale. I'm currently only generating frenzy charges from Electrocute on Tempest Flurry, and Neural on Bell. A kind of a slow ramp on my incomplete critical build, but it always gets there. I just mean it's easy to patch a scuffed build with these tools. You can hang pretty much anything on the bell, and you can even have a selection of varied utility on 2 different bells. And you want to fight on your bell(s) always anyway, if there is any resistance. The double bell will still do incredible damage, even if several of the supports are not contributing to damage directly. Then also you can pick from any high int spells or curses, without increasing int. Because you weapon swap to an int boosting weapon and increase the weapon set's int. Any curses or Orb of Thunder for example, can be cast with that slight delay. And btw rubies on the passive board can roll weapon swap speed and frenzy charges generated on hit. So keep an eye on that.
Dying from flicker strike after flying into a horde of enemies, is like getting mad that you ran face first into a brick wall and are then mad at the wall. LOL! It's part of the experience! I look forward to playing this, I love me some POE1 flicker
Love your videos, dude. I’m having a terrible time getting this game to click with me. Every time I try I log off due to something frustrating or annoying. I have a pathfinder in act 3, a monk in act 2 and a warrior in t 4 maps and all characters are just stuck from stupid things like res, mana and attributes or something the crafting bench could easily solve but because we don’t have it I just feel like I’m being forced to trade
It is stupid. I'll wait for GGG to take time and balance the game before I spend another 15 hours in the campaign to make another class. Witchhunter grenade is a joke at the moment but I would like to hear what is the plan to get rid of this stuff cuz it can't stay like this for sure. Many builds need to be nerfed to the ground and that will make so many people angry. This is hard one to deal with for GGG so I'd like to hear if this is really their vision. The best part is that witchhunter grenade build feels really OK! You can complete anything and it's really okayish scales with investment and progression seemed to be quite balanced, but compared to what I see on youtube it's like 10% of DPS and power of other builds at the same level of investment? So is it that it's underpowered or everything else is so out of place that the game gets ridiculous like that. I know players are crazy for those OP builds and trivializing the game, but it's not healthy and won't work well for the game in a long run.
sadly im a flicer poe 1 player T_T , its not the same. Not being to 24/7 hold down flicker doesnt give me the same headache I need. this looks like crazy out-gearing the content. I did a TON of testing because flicker strike is the only skill i care about in poe1. Flicker strike in poe2 feels really really bad. completely ignoring the old charge sustain issues, the damage was just NOT there. Vs single target + bell it was ok, for clear it was absolutely atrocious. maybe its cause i was using a high rolled crackling staff without lightning damage is lucky node but idk. it just didnt feelt good at all.

@@CL_Hat just searched the trade site, the only expert slicing quarterstaff with increased phys, +% to crit and crit damage bonus(only +10%) on it is 5 divines. GGG really does have a major "Flicker Strike" problem. In PoE 1 it is widely considered the only melee skill (excepting slams which aren't even really melee) that is fun to use, and it seems like PoE 2 is well on that road too lol.
Press attack. Get charged. Press one other button aside from attack. Deal more damage. Press attack. Get more charges. Press a whopping third button. Delete multiple screens of enemies. When bossing, instead push a different third button. Is that cancerous multi button gameplay?

Playing Storm Wave, and was using Flicker Strike as a movement Power Charge dump.... until it BETRAAAYED me.

Been trying to add flicker to my triple curse shattering monk, hopefully I'll manage to.
Will give this a try. Just been leveling a monk with ice strike which is great, loved flicker strike in Poe 1.

Hey sir, what vial did you pick for the venom draught in acts 3 and 3 cruel?
I think I went with Mana Regen and Chaos Res!
Ill try to do this on a merch as a gemling legionnaire. Thanks for the guide!
And I was already having fun with ice strike, this looks even funnerer!
I hope you enjoy it! I'll keep making tweaks and updating the guide over the next few days as I keep testing :)

y'know, flicker says you "teleport" and momentum support says "teleportation does not count towards distance traveled"
Omg. Thank you I didn't notice.
