I was shocked seeing this deck in prince cup and having a good match despite not including any popular card like treasure
tbh this deck can hardly use treasure.... it doesn't use any basic attacks to handle the random dice nature of it.

I doubt it. Yelan gives you card draw and more survivability than xingqiu because of his downsides. Against swirl, Xingqiu puts your team at risk with his self-application. Though, if you time it right, it can actually be a benefit
then, there's the fact that Yelan can get her skills out more efficiently because of the bow she uses, which reduces her skill cost while XQ on sapwood blade would still need to go through the 3 die cost, then the normal attack which doesn't give any hydro application while Yelan's does
and THEN there's the fact that Xingqiu's burst scales off of usages (can only be used twice while Yelan's burst can be used indefinitely because it scales off of rounds)
so, imo, no. Yelan and XQ are in two completely different leagues.
