    When I can’t sleep, I turn this on. Works every time. I was in 4th grade when this happened. I vividly remember my mom watching this every night. She watched the entire trial, didn’t miss any of it. She’d record it with our vcr and watch what happened while she was at work. 😂 she was in school at the time, getting her bachelors degree in criminal justice/political science. She passed away may of 2022. I miss her deeply. Thanks for uploading these..

      I wish I had been old enough to comprehend what the verdict meant. I was old enough to realize something important was on tv, but remember thinking it must’ve been a football game after all the mixed reactions.

      I can't imagine what those kids went through growing up w/ no mom & their dad in jail for 14 months raised by Nicole family then of course oj cut them out when they joined in the Civil suit. Since the kids never gave an interview * thankfully for them *I'd have to think they must wonder if their dad killed their mom unless they have had to convince themselves he didn't do it. I do recall Sydney at like 16 called 911 on oj but nothing came of it
      The only photos I've seen are of Sydney walking & I'm not being mean at all but Sydney was only in her late 20s & was very very overweight & I always wondered if she has some issues obviously understandable not having a mom to guide her & oj Simpson was her only parent as a teen ! That had to be very very hard. Oj was always a womanizer & in Nicole's diaries she talked about how critical he was of her only gaining 15lbs while pregnant which is really nothing. A healthy thin woman is expected to gain 25 lbs. The baby was 7lbs ad she wrote the placenta weights 8 lbs plus water weight. So the baby & placenta & the water around the baby is like 15 lbs alone. So point is Nicole was abused not just physically but verbally as oj called her fat & told her in her letters to him said he hated her pregnant. So we know people use food either too much or too little as a sign they have something emotional going on. So I wondered hearing a couple people say they wondered if Sydney was very overweight cause of such a serious trauma. She was 8 when her mom was murdered so by 8 ur very attached & def remember ur mom.

      @@nattyps3160Fortunately, OJ straightened the misconception about OJ possibly being involved in this tragedy...there has been some confusion that OJ may know something about someone murdering Nicole...it's also believed that it could've been a drug hit, nonetheless, OJ explained to the kids that it was impossible for him to committ these murders...

      I lived through this, and I watched the entire trial and news coverage surrounding it, from beginning to end. It was a black/white thing. The Not Guilty verdict was a message to police. If you don't know the racial injustices that led up to this trial's verdict, watch the ESPN documentary OJ: Made in America. The city was preparing for a massive riot in case OJ's verdict came back as Guilty. It would've been worse than the riot that started over the Rodney King verdict.

      That jury could have been shown a video tape of OJ pulling into Bundy, and that jury, almost all black, would have found him not guilty. The truth hurts, but thats a fact.
      Sick thing is this. Unless you were a klan member, OJ wasnt even black to white Americans, he was bigger than that, and OJ was so commercial, he didnt do much or care for the black cause, yet he played that card, and the jury paid him off, for nothing in return.

    Just as OJ had sequels with The Naked Gun movies, OJ had sequels with his jealousy and violent behavior towards Nicole. She declared OJ would kill her, and his last sequel brought that outcome. All the evidence points only to him. It was a common sense verdict that was muddied by a race trial and some sloppy cop procedures and Furman taking the fifth on the N word lie. Still Nicole and Ronald's blood cries out for justice and demands payment. OJ has to deal with that at the moment of truth.

    • @kevinmalone3210
      @kevinmalone3210 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I read that book too. It was excellent, but even if the prosecution would've did a much better job, the jury still could've came back with not guilty. I think Gil Garcetti lost the case for them when he had the case transferred to downtown LA, instead of having the case tried where it was supposed to, in Santa Monica.

    • @hus390
      @hus390 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinmalone3210 That's such a convenient BS for people to believe. It was a circumstantial evidence case and the defence bulldozed the entire narrative and the so called evidence by not raising doubt, but also by completely destroying portions of it. Watch *"OJ Simpson: Fact or Fiction"*.
      Fuhrman confessed his hatred to black men who spouse white women. He knew the Simpsons. In '85 as Nicole ran into his arms after she called the cops on OJ for domestic abuse case and Fuhrman was the cop who showed up. ___ Nothing happened that day as no charges were pressed, although ironically he wrote a report in ’89 (four years later), when he wasn't on that case. Why? Because he said the '85 case left him with “insurable impression". Of the 9 calls by Nicole, only Fuhrman wrote a report, a four years late report .
      This is the man who “found" the gloves. He pleaded the 5th when asked if he planted evidence! His tape recording were not all played in court. Surprisingly, similar words were uttered and written in request for a “risk pay" pension in early 80s. The defence had a long suspicion about Fuhrman at the start of the trial, the tape were discovered in late August. It just proved every suspicion about him.
      Not enough!! The sloppy work by the criminalists and the forensic team created many doubts. After OJ gave a blood samples, detective Vannater took the blood vial not to the lab, but to OJ's house, presumably to give it to the criminalists there. Ironically, they can't account for 1.5 millilitres of missing blood. The blood on the sock which the man who took it from the scene Mr. Fung, had EDTA (a blood preservative usually added to blood vials). And Mr. Fung initial note on the sock was that it didn't had any bloods on it.
      Doubts were all over the place for the jury. The alleged blood stained clothes and the knife was thrown out by OJ at the airport, but he was careless enough to leave a “bloody” sock on his bedroom.
      Kato Kaelin heard three loud bangs behind his room. The prosecution say OJ hit his head on the AC unit three times (like a loony tunes cartoon). There were no injuries on OJ's head. Ron Goldman had bruised knuckles, he fought for his life, yet no bruises on OJ's body.
      ⚠️ My point is, the defence created enough doubts, to make conviction on “beyond reasonable doubt" an impossible task

      It's not Clark or Darden's fault...... He's a murderer, and he had to "get away with it" because of how many times wealthy white people have gotten away with murdering black people and got away with it because nobody wants to investigate a murder when a wealthy white person murders some black person..... So it was important that justice be served.... In this case the murderer oj Simpson getting away with murders, which he did commit, as I say I'm a god and I know..... How did he get home rather quickly and with very little blood spillage? How did he clean up all the blood on him before he entered his car? Where did the murder weapon and the clothing go? Why did he drop one glove at the scene and one behind his house? But he was able to dispose of the murder weapon and clothes very cleanly. Why did he smash on Kato's wall?

      That's such a convenient BS for people to believe.

    It shocks me some people still think he didn’t do it. The abundance of evidence including the blood trail, no alibi, and the personal nature of the crime coupled with OJ’s history of domestic abuse, make this an open and shut case. What the defence team did during this trial was outrageous. Helping a killer walk free and exacerbating the race issue in America by trying to make this about the colour of OJ’s skin.

People that don't know what arthritis feels like shouldn't be accusatory about something they don't know how it feels. Everything body's threshold for pain is different. Just because he did the video and played golf doesn't mean he didn't have that problem.

    I thought for sure he was innocent for many years after. But then other things came up that changed my mind. It was the robbery he committed in Vegas over some art work or something.

      Apparently the jury thought otherwise.

      the robbery in Las Vegas was over his memorabilia he was stealing it back because he assumed it belong to him and I forgot how it got taken from him in the first place but I believe if I'm correct that's what the issue of him stealing was about he was stealing his memorabilia it could have been artwork too I'm not sure but I know some of his stuff that was stolen or whatever was in that hotel room and I guess he assumed he could steal it back

    This case, at least it's outcome, was sadly based on race and revenge.
    I forget the name of the O.J. documentary (there have been a few), but in the one I'm referring to, one of the jurors in the trial was being interviewed. At the time of the interview, the woman looked to be in her early to mid seventies. So at the time of the trial, she was probably in her early to mid fifties. The interviewer asked her if it (O.J. being acquitted at the trial) was because the officers that beat Rodney King were found not guilty (?) She nodded her head and said "yes". The jury and a lot of Americans, and of course a lot of African Americans, were looking for revenge, and they got it. Unfortunately it came at the lives of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
