Thank you so much for this video! It's really clear and it's just convinced me for the Jabra Elite 8 rather than the 10. I had the Jabra Elite 85t before and after 3 years of using they just broke because one fell on the floor, too bad! So as you said with the Jabra Elite 10 if think there is an "insecurity", which I totally agree.
How much talking time on the phone you get out them? I just got them as well, upgraded from 75t also. Really like them so far. Just not sure all is ok with the batteries: Left earbud loses charges quicker than right one and after only 15min of phone call, it went from 100% to 80%....does not seem to be right. Btw. the sound is great, also bass....which was a big concern for me, since the 75t where the king of Bass. I have to say, that the 75t bass still pumps more, but the 8 Active Bass is strong, and more clear and clean than the 75t one.
Nice to see Jabra is continuing to improve the waterproof earbuds. Have been using AirPods Pro for years now; however, I still own the Jabra original Elite Sports waterproof with heart rate monitor from 2017 without magnetic charging case, hearing through or spatial audio features. I have used it for daily shower & swimming even in salt water before and never had an issue and is still functional today.

I have the elite 8 active. And I'm going to return them. I bought 2 pairs. Thinking my 1st pair was the problem and the second pair did the same thing. I own a mowing company, ANC, and durability is super important to me. The ANC worked great when I used the big commercial mowers, and when I use a stihl trimmer I have. But when I use a little walk behind mower I have and when I use my echo trimmer instead. The ANC stops working correctly and actually amplifies the sound of the equipment, making it very painful in my ears. It's almost like if the transparency mode activates itself. Like I said, I bought another pair thinking my 1st pair was bad. And the other pair did the exact same thing.

@cross8171 Yes. I noticed that with the 7 active, you can calibrate the anc while being in a loud place. I did that, and it actually worked. As for the 8 active and the 10, you can't calibrate or adjust the anc. You can only adjust the hearthrough settings.

8 for sure. I don’t think the very small difference in sound quality trumps the durability & fit (as in, it will be harder to fall out) of the 8’s. I had the elite 7 active for 2 years and loved them. The case on the 8 compared to 7 looks like it will fit better in the pocket and will be easier to open and close.
