Same as where Jesus says to the thief on the cross, "Today you will be with me in paradise." How often people want to associate "paradise" with "heaven." Where did Jesus go when he died? He went to the grave, not heaven.
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Rev 21 This is not referring to heaven. Keep it in the context, this is talking about the New Jerusalem which is yet to come. So many people are so confused it's very sad!
