Hi there . You really have great videos . I have graduated with PLC automation and thinking tobuy one scara KUKa robot for pick and place process but they sell it without a gripper but they offered me 4 days of program education . is it easy to set it up and install it in the factory and install a gripper ? any tips regarding this which could help because im quite lost now ? thanks alot
@@KarlSingline Thank you Karl, I appreciate your reply. I was thinking about buying a used bot directly from Kuka because of their support and training.
A $179 OEM Spacemouse(identical to the one on the smartpad) and 50 lines of math, plus a "necessary"(not) smartpad replacement upsell gets you a ~$4000-6000 option, now that's the definition of profit margin. Surprisingly terrible response time considering what the robot and KSS can do.
This is absolutely mindblowing stuff
I love it, every KUKA should have one... :-) Very good Job... Karl...
I ❤️ robots - thank you for sharing!
Me too!
This stuff is so fascinating.
Learn something new everyday!
Thank you for your time and doing this presentation ;)
You're welcome
Very impressive functional advancement.
It's definitely impressive tech..!
This is so cool. Thanks for the video!
Thanks, you're more than welcome! Maybe we can do something together with a robot sometime..
@@KarlSingline That would be awesome! I’ve been thinking about the possibilities of illustration, painting and robots.
Well done Karl!
This is very, very cool :O
Thanks Emily!
Karl, Great Video! Have you used the new "Track" Function? I've found it can pair really well with the Ready2_Pilot
The track function is fantastic, especially when inline coding.. ! Can't believe it hasn't been there since day one, if I'm honest..!
Really interesting
Glad you think so!

I have absolutely zero experience with the scara KUKA, unfortunately. If you've graduated with PLC I can't imagine it would be too difficult to setup.
very cool
Nice, thanks for the demo.
I like robots
They like you, too
hammer top!
I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.
"You will find your flow when you go robot"
You're right merely cool
Just a little.. ha ha
Rad!
Nice vid presentation...very cool stuff. Would you be able to add pricing?
I honestly have no idea - as most KUKA option packages are very dependent on your setup and configuration.
@@KarlSingline okay thank you. I was just looking for a rough ballpark figure. Didn't know if it was $500 or $500,000. Thanks!
@@justal8559 well its definitely in that range. As a smartPAD is ~2k, my best guess would be 4 - 6k for a single unit.. but thats just a guess.

@@justal8559 that's what I recommend to a lot of people. Can't beat a refurbished unit from KUKA, especially with their support.
