Is it possible to manually engage the front camera; it comes on sometimes so I know the 360 camera is on it, but I don’t have the parking assist package. I’d like to see how close I am when pulling into certain parking places especially in garages. The manual isn’t helping.
Thanks for the question. I do not believe so, but if there was it would be found in the infotainment screen. click on Home, then Settings, then Assistance, and finally Camera and Parking. Another way to possibly "Trick the system" is to come to a complete stop prior to parking, place the vehicle in reverse, then back to drive. If you have the camera set to delay turning off (use same steps as above-but look for a button to delay the camera from turning off immediately- , you should get the 360 camera to stay on as long as you stay under about 5mph. Thanks for the question. Sirius xm was an option in the 2020 MB GLB 250. So if your vehicle is not showing Sirius xm as an option then it did not come with it. That being said, if you have a Sirius xm account, you can download the app on your phone, sign into it, and then stream it via Bluetooth from your phone. Thanks for watching!
Would you happen to know why my ambient lights wont come on until i start the engine? Like when i unlock or open the door, the rest of the lights do come on but not the ambient lights
Thanks for the question. That is because that’s how MB set them up. The car either needs to be running, or the accessory power needs to be on (pressing start button w/out your foot on the brake) for those to operate. Why they did that, not sure but I’m sure it saves a bit on battery drainage. Thanks for watching!

@@abesandoval1024 sounds like a good idea. I think there’s more than one thing wrong at this moment but resetting the system is a good place to start. If that doesn’t jar it to life, I would start checking fuses as one or more may be out.
I know you can get one new with a third row but not if they can be retrofitted for a third row. Best to check with your local MB dealer to see if it can be done. Thanks for the question

To use the SiriusXM app in CarPlay, plug your iPhone into media USB port and Apple CarPlay will show up on your infotainment screen and you should now see the apps on your phone that work with Apple CarPlay . Thanks for the question. Which dash cam feature are you referring too? Mercedes has several, there’s the navigation 3D live camera view. There’s the 360 camera system that allows you to turn on the front camera for parking etc. Also did you mean to say a 2020 GLB 250 premium? By chance, I assuming you did already, have you tried pushing the power button for the infotainment screen that’s in the center console? It’s the volume control, only you push it to turn the screen on or off.
Thanks for the comment. The GLB 250 does come standard with both active brake assist and blind spot warning and they should be showing up in the areas you looked at that I showed in the video. Here are 3 suggestions to try: perform a system reset which should bring all the defaults back in place. 2. See if there is an update and run and install it or 3. Bring it to the dealer, if it’s under warranty they should be able to fix it at no cost (other than time and inconvenience of course). Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
When parking my car has not been making the beeping noise that indicates when you are getting close to an object. Do you know how to turn this feature on? Thank you so much!
Thanks for the question. There are two possible answers. One is to check and make sure your Parking Assist is turned on. To do this go to the main center infotainment screen, click on settings, then Quick Access,, then Parktronic, if it is off simply turn it on at that screen. The second possibility is that Park Assist is on but the warning tones have been turned down. To adjust the warning sounds, go to the infotainment screen, click the Home button, then Settings, then Assistance, and finally click on Camera and Parking. In this screen select "Warning Tone Volume" and select a high level. You can also adjust how soon the warning sounds come on. Follow the same instructions as above, but instead of clicking on Warning Tone Volume, click on "Warn early All Around", click to turn it on and you should be able to tell on the screen how early or late you wish the warnings to occur. Do you mean so you can see the icons in colorful detail? Overall the SiriusXM screen is very similar in most vehicles. The biggest different here is the high resolution icons for the individual stations. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. No it does not. It was used for navigation maps on the earlier MB but the new MBUX system got rid of it in favor of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can use navigation apps from your phone. If your looking to install navigation and you don’t currently have it, but the navigation icon shows up and tells you to insert media, I would check out the Mercedes’ Me store, it (navigation) might be available as a download (and a fee). @KL M Thanks for the follow up question. We'll try to do a video on that. Mean time Apple Car Play will display google maps on your center screen if you connect your phone via the usb. You need to be sure you are connected to the media usb and not just the charging usb, which will only charge your phone. Also it may depend on the OS your running on your phone. Make sure you are running IOS 12 or later, current IOS is 13.3. The last thing to check is to make sure your Mercedes Benz has Apple Car Play which you can check by looking in your drivers manual. If your talking about getting google maps to display in your drivers screen that is not possible at this point in time. Hope this helps thanks for watching!

Can you change the loudness of the blind spot alert

The display looks outdated. Why isn’t an edge to edge display? The edges are to bulky! Is it a 4K OLED 120HZ HDR display?
