Oh my goodness - what colour and sensitivity. Glorious.
Perfection!
I miss You, Maestro, so much!
RIP.
Magnificent pianist.
Nelson Freire always over perfection.
Sensacional. Que pianista maravilhoso o mundo perdeu.
Not a bad piece to have been composed by a prime minister! Nelson Freire is an absolute master of anything he chooses to play.
And perhaps much better than that Minuet in g (Celebre!)
Digo com sinceridade, não por ser brasileiro, que Nelson na minha opinião foi o melhor pianista que este planeta já teve. Seu som é inigualável.
Real music!
Maravilhoso!!! Pianista divino!!,
Delight! Thank!
Maravilhoso!
Lindo!
Estupendo!
Perfecto
Nice playing but any performance of this piece shorter than 5 mins is too fast. Paderewski never played it so quickly - it’s a Nocturne, relax those hands!
no. here's Paderewski himself playing: th-cam.com/video/Ko1jGAZVT4Q/w-d-xo.html
and also it says andantino con moto if I'm not mistaken, which isn't too slow
Nelson Freire plays at about the same speed and the overall timing is longer than that of Paderewski.
interesting comments! ULtimately, does it melt you heart under his hands? YES
