But it was drawing me in to smoke more despite my paranoia, because I would have lapse of intense interpersonal reflection and I cherish those moments and _"study my own mind"_ from them. So eventually I became completely comfortable with myself, that I can feel comfortable getting high with almost zero paranoia in any situation, even at work. So each paranoia trips, I would dwell and learn why I feel that way, and slowly peel all my fear and insecurities away. Marijuana is an incredible medicine for those who are willing to let it open yourself to your subconscious realm

The difference between smoking to medicate and improve functioning vs smoking to relax and or fall asleep vs smoking recreationally to have a good time. One of the biggest issues I found with these experiments is using either new users who don’t know what to expect from being stoned, or recreational users, who use it occasionally. As a daily smoker, I find it easy, if not more helpful to complete tasks at work. I work in a very fast paced work environment and I have to speak with a lot of people throughout the day, and find ease in doing so. I work in an animal shelter, and do find myself to forget what I was doing regularly, but studies have shown that being in a constantly noisy environment can also affect your short term memory and forgetting is a regular thing between myself and my peers who do not smoke at all. As far as my observations, my friends who have the most iconic issues with being stoned are those who smoke irregularly, not those who are usually stoned all the time.

There is no such thing as "laced" cannabis. Laced with what? Nobody is going to add some shit to cannabis to make it stronger without charging more money for said cannabis. I've been smoking everyday for 35 years and have never seen, nor do i know anyone who has ever seen laced cannabis. The only thing I have ever seen added to it was PCP back in the early 80s. And there is no way you would not notice that.

But no background given on subjects prior experience with weed (varying greatly it seems among subjects), age ranges, etc. A little humor is good, this is weed after all. The only way most of these tests would become relevant, is if the subject was retested in the opposite mind state as well. And also, a third subject needs to be added.. I realize this makes for good TV, but they can't possibly be expected to perform well as a first timer given massive doses of THC. Most drugs can be overwhelming on their inital doses, (that's why they're typically prescribed in half-dose steps at first) and that's what makes these tests non typical results for what I think a standard user would give.

Then the golden question would be "Does marijuana effect every day errands? Also does it vary with someone who smokes cannabis regularly, compared to someone who doesn't regularly?
This is an example of an experiment where the test subjects are unfamiliar with the use and effects of Cannabis. Everyday cannabis consumers do not behave in this manner.

Literally any of these tests are completely unique to the person. The same weed brings one person up and the next person down. It makes one person eloquent, and the next catatonic.
I feel as though the common denominator in this study is that the test subjects got way to stoned. Their is obviously a point where people feel extremely uncomfortable because of how intoxicated they are and in these studies that is basically all they concluded.
From personal experience imo i think that the affect weed has on you depends on the mindset you have when you are going to smoke it. If your scared and think its going to harm you, then it will give you anxiety or something along those lines.
I was in the military and I am not a fan of most people but when I smoke my tolerance to people goes up. Anyone who labels it as a "drug" probably has someone in their family whom will benefit from the use of THC. The problem with labeling people is that all people are different. Try accepting one another for who they are not what they smoke.
I think that they should test this out but from different countries, obviously that have passed recreational marijuana. I'm from the US and would love to see how the tests may have come out different with people from different countries.

Dabs are 70-90% thc and weed can only go up to mid 30%. So yeah, way more intense for the dabs, at least 3x the active ingredient

The only way most of these tests would become relevant, is if the subject was retested in the opposite mind state as well. And also, a third subject needs to be added.. A person who smokes regularly and doesn't act like a prepubescent moron getting high for the first time. I realize this makes for good TV, but they can't possibly be expected to perform well as a first timer given massive doses of THC. Most drugs can be overwhelming on their inital doses, (that's why they're typically prescribed in half-dose steps at first) and that's what makes these tests non typical results for what I think a standard user would give.

None of this even falls remotely within the scientific method. The "control" is a different person than the test subject... If you don't use the same person for the sober and high test, it could just be that one person is naturally better at the test. Entertaining, but a lab coat and gas mask doesn't make it "science"

From personal experience imo i think that the affect weed has on you depends on the mindset you have when you are going to smoke it. If your scared and think its going to harm you, then it will give you anxiety or something along those lines.

Anyone who labels it as a "drug" probably has someone in their family whom will benefit from the use of THC. The problem with labeling people is that all people are different.
