    7:37 You can get the third color option to show up by changing the station style to Canvas Tent.

    Really nice trick, and easy to follow!

    I didn't think you could make bigger tunnels, but then again, anything is possible with OpenRCT2. Thanks for this tutorial.

      You’re welcome! I wish they’d all default to this!

      @openRCT2tutorials yeah that would be cool 😎. At least if I ever get back to playing OpenRCT2 again and want to do this, i can always watch this tutorial.

      @retrorobbyreviews oh no! Burnout?

      @openRCT2tutorials nope, no burnout I just been playing other games at the moment.

      I hear that. I just started playing The Sims 4 lol

    To prevent accidental track marges you can flip the track 180 degrees so the direction (D) reads as 2 instead of 0.

      This can work as long as the track also a straight piece of the same ride, otherwise they can still merge. But it’s definitely a good trick I forgot to mention in the video!

    I like this trick, very simple but it does have a very nice appeal.

      Yeah! I wish they’d make tunnels draw like this all the time

      I wish they’d just make all tunnels draw so big as part of the game!

      @openRCT2tutorials That'd be great too

    Hey a tip- use the dhingy slide closed mode then change to suspended monorail to avoid merging

    • @openRCT2tutorials
      @openRCT2tutorials  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The suspended monorail doesn't draw closed dinghy slide track, so it also won't draw the tunnel. At least when I just tested this

      @ weird. Could try the chairlift track i guess

    Watching your hint of what's coming next, a thought popped into my mind of a possible way to accomplish this, and then I thought even if it wasn't of use for this particular thing, if it worked it might be of use in other cases, so I thought I'd mention it to see if you wanted to experiment with it at all. What if you copy-pasted an extra piece of one station next to another station? Would this allow syncronizing launches between two stations that weren't right next to each other? Just a sudden random thought.

    • @openRCT2tutorials

      That is definitely part of the next tutorial! I will use that method to synchronize the stations. Some more trickery is needed to make sure breakdowns don’t mess it all up.

    wow i really caught this as it dropped

    if the suspended monorail has a higher clearance for the tunnel, why can't you add that extra clearance to the flying coaster? (and other coasters it makes sense for)

    • @openRCT2tutorials
      @openRCT2tutorials  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I made a bug report for it but don’t think the developers did anything with it

    • @Pystro
      @Pystro 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think the visual height of the tunnel has to match the clearance of the track.
      If you have a track with low clearance, then that informs how close above you can put a tunnel entrance of another track type (or path). And that in turn determines how much space each of the tunnel entrances can take up.
      Or in other words, if for example a track can be built on top of each other every 2 increments, then the tunnel entrance can't be 3 increments tall.

      @@Pystro Exactly this. For example, note how in this video, for the river rapids, he had to raise the land in order to have room for a taller tunnel entrance. So to really fix this visual oddity _for the river rapids,_ OpenRCT2 would need to either make that ride type 3 units of height tall instead of 2 (which substantially nerfs it), or change all of its sprites to sit lower down in their tile (which is a ton of spriting work). Now repeat that for every ride type where this happens.
