Name brand or not, those generators won't bring more than 500 bucks each. They are used and probably worn out. The only way you would sell them for more is if there was some sort of crisis in the area.

I don't know Pete, with this ethanol fuel today, if those engines sit without any fuel stabilizer it will mess up the carburetors. The alcohol in the fuel will actually cause condensation in the carburetors and algae will grow in them. Make sure they run!

Even honda stuff is not foolproof; you may have to clean the fuel system or get new battery or whatever - all of which costs time & money. Further, you are probably not an expert on small engines, so may have to pay someone if you can't figure it out. None of that stuff is in high demand, so you'll sit on them a while. Most contractors don't like buying used equipment anyway; if that stuff screws up they can lose beaucoup money from downtime. $10K was in fact a generous offer.

Big Lou I’m guessing when you have a storage unit of stolen stuff you don’t call a guy with legit store and a big TH-cam channel over to potentially buy the stuff and you certainly don’t haggle too much. He would’ve took the 10k or just a little more in a second.

I'm a small engine mechanic, and I buy and sell generators all the time, if gas was left in them. Which it always is, they are going to need to be repaired, I buy them for about 100$ or less, and they sell for about 800$ during hurricane season. Water pumps go for 250, so 30k is ridiculous
