For other newbies that might watch this ... if you haven't deactivated the classic editor in the plug-in area you won't be able to follow Ferdy's great instructions. When you disable the classic plugin, Gutenberg editor that comes Word Press 5.0 will be your editor, and you'll see what is one Ferdy's screen. Took me 20 minutes to figure that out, you're welcome.
