The sheer lore-breaking in this video alone is...fun...Don't mind the Alliance marines wearing Cerberus Ajax armor or using Mattock rifles...or the Hammerheads...or the Mantis gunships...or the fact that the Mattock Shepard is using is a three-round burst and sounds like an Argus...ya' know, any of that...Or the dreadnoughts in atmosphere, I almost forgot that one!
Well in fact,the armor Alliance marines are wearing IS the official Alliance armor. The low-res crappy one you see in the game is nothing but a reskinned version of basic armor from ME1/2.

CGI movies like this do exist. However, they cost so much $$ to produce, that most of the movies failed to generate a profit, thus there's hardly any new movies of the CGI genre in production. Final Fantasy: The Spiritis Within, was the deciding movie which dictated whether we'd see producers steer into this direction, unfortunately, it never delivered.
yeah and those kinds of children movie suck compared to the ones we use to watch back in the days before 2009.... i wish they would make movies like this man resident evil and couple of other games have done it ...

Nothing of significant importance to humanity was done in UK. UK can only divide other countries and exploit them, not doing significant things by itself. And yeah, Reaper-wise the most efficient point of attack would be gulf of China.

The ending caught a lot of flak which somewhat overshadowed the rest of the game. Maybe the controversy was deserved, maybe it wasn’t. That’s trouble with ending big stories though! No matter what you can’t please everyone. Of course it didn’t help that EA forced BioWare to release it before they’d properly finished the ending, which is the actual reason things were as they were. Despite that they still did an amazing job. ME3 is definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story, characters, and choices, all worked perfectly to portray a galaxy at war. Hell, we’d always seen Shepard relatively in control, even when shit hits the fan. But in 3 he’s desperate and willing to do whatever it takes to destroy the Reapers. Damn it.... now I need to replay the trilogy!!!

The Mass Effect triology was such an amazing experience. Watching the trailers I remember how when I romanced Liara it wasn't my Shepard who fell in love with her but me. That a game be so wonderful that you fall in love with fictional characters is truly something beautiful.

hellcatdave1 having compared Mass Effect to other games, I disagree on every point (minus male Shepard's voice actor Mark Meer, but even then it works for me since he's a soldier and soldiers aren't exactly known for their emotional sensitivity in their voice acting [see Act of Valor]).
But the game itself didn't really flop now did it? It recieved very good reviews and sold well. The biggest issue was just the ending and personally I think it's a bit of an overreaction imo

Zabusy01 The uproar over the ending was due to it being exactly what BioWare said it would NOT be from the very beginning of the games development. Compared to the rest of the game, everything after the big fleet cutscene was half assed, did not make sense, and especially with the "Star Child", spit on all the story development and player choices that were a hallmark of the entire series. This was the ending, the climax, what everything was building towards, and the battle and story was worse than every other major engagement in ME3. We spent the entire time forming alliances, gathering forces, and what does that amount to? Nothing when it came to the final battle. It was neither easier nor harder, nothing was different compared to if you united the galaxy or didn't, we didn't even see anyone other than humans alongside us in the push to the beam. No Krogans or Turians charging into battle with us, no Salarian or Asari SpecOps teams showing up to help us out in badass flanking maneuvers. The rest of the game or previous games might as well never had happened so far as the ending was concerned, exactly the opposite as to what BioWare promised and what we expected based on the ending of ME2, where our choices DID matter.
Synthmilk You know what pisses me off? They promised us "You won't just find some long-lost Reaper off button". They promised us the presence of the Rachnis will be a huge game changer. They promised us the endings won't be as simple as "Ending A, B, or C". No wonder they actually got sued for false advertising.
This trailer is so good, it almost makes you forget that, until the Reapers park the Citadel over Earth, it has no more inherent strategic value than, say, Palaven or Thessia, so ther's no real reason it should be the focus of uniting the Galaxy rather than, say, the Crucible.
Bioware, PLS don't make a new s...t Loot Game like Anthem. Nobody wants this. Just make a Mass Effect 1--3 Remastered with Frostbite Engine and maybe some new Quests. And you'll get our money. I promise you that!!!!!

The shots of the _Normandy_ in formation with a group of fighters, and then leading those fighters _and_ a frigate squadron, always tickles me. There's a certain level of "fuck you and the grid square you're sitting in" about that sort of formation. Easy to picture the frigates kicking down the door and blowing away air defense that can't meaningfully damage them, while the fighters handle precision/close-in work, y'know?

Dirtbag359 Nolan would never dircet ME movie because he hates CGI and ME movie would demand a lot of it.
The problem is a lot of directors do the original story an injustice. Just look at Dragon Ball Z, Mortal Kombat, hell, Avatar (Last Airbender)

+DHF F They don't. If anything, it shows how the Reapers inspire superstitious awe (even when not rewriting our brains for it) just by the appearance of their presence. The Reaper was just there. The girl filled in all the blanks about what it is and what it intends (as did we).

In the game the girl is a guy Shepard try's to rescue him he says no disappears goes on a ship the ship blows up killing the kid
She's in a field. Reapers' entire function is crop rotation. This was made clear in ME1 if you accessed the Prothean Sphere (which is actually a Leviathan device).

CzarnyMlot It fits a lot better as a game. Perhaps their could be a spinoff miniseries to test out the theory. But chances are nobody would invest in that.

To be honnost I actually feel kinda sad we didn't had a fight in the game like in the trailer. Just army vs army kinda halo/battlefield... It looks awsome and EPIC

hellcatdave1 having compared Mass Effect to other games, I disagree on every point (minus male Shepard's voice actor Mark Meer, but even then it works for me since he's a soldier and soldiers aren't exactly known for their emotional sensitivity in their voice acting [see Act of Valor]).
The reason why Mass Effect 3 flopped:
You cannot spell "Greedy, treacherous bastards" without "EA".

But the game itself didn't really flop now did it? It recieved very good reviews and sold well. The biggest issue was just the ending and personally I think it's a bit of an overreaction imo
martinzalle I actually agree. Ending wasn't like best shit ever but hey its hard to make good ending for such great game. I had a blast playing it so sad it's over. I wish I could have erased my memory and play this game again.
Zabusy01 The uproar over the ending was due to it being exactly what BioWare said it would NOT be from the very beginning of the games development.
Compared to the rest of the game, everything after the big fleet cutscene was half assed, did not make sense, and especially with the "Star Child", spit on all the story development and player choices that were a hallmark of the entire series. This was the ending, the climax, what everything was building towards, and the battle and story was worse than every other major engagement in ME3.
We spent the entire time forming alliances, gathering forces, and what does that amount to? Nothing when it came to the final battle. It was neither easier nor harder, nothing was different compared to if you united the galaxy or didn't, we didn't even see anyone other than humans alongside us in the push to the beam. No Krogans or Turians charging into battle with us, no Salarian or Asari SpecOps teams showing up to help us out in badass flanking maneuvers.
The rest of the game or previous games might as well never had happened so far as the ending was concerned, exactly the opposite as to what BioWare promised and what we expected based on the ending of ME2, where our choices DID matter.
Synthmilk You know what pisses me off? They promised us "You won't just find some long-lost Reaper off button". They promised us the presence of the Rachnis will be a huge game changer. They promised us the endings won't be as simple as "Ending A, B, or C".
No wonder they actually got sued for false advertising.

This trailer is so good, it almost makes you forget that, until the Reapers park the Citadel over Earth, it has no more inherent strategic value than, say, Palaven or Thessia, so ther's no real reason it should be the focus of uniting the Galaxy rather than, say, the Crucible.

I regret missing out on the trilogy during this quarentine i watched the trilogy in chronological order and the story and immersion has blown me away i dont know why i havnt gotten into this sooner when i had the chance i love most of the characters.

Legion- i felt sorry for legion and the geth the quiarians brought their exile and their near extinction upon themselves when they tried to unfairly kill the geth the secound they became self aware

mass effect 4 has a lot to live up to

The shots of the _Normandy_ in formation with a group of fighters, and then leading those fighters _and_ a frigate squadron, always tickles me. There's a certain level of "fuck you and the grid square you're sitting in" about that sort of formation. Easy to picture the frigates kicking down the door and blowing away air defense that can't meaningfully damage them, while the fighters handle precision/close-in work, y'know?
