If anyone is having trouble opening the brushes, you have to extract the file once you've downloaded it. It should say "ABR File," then you can literally click and drag the file over to Photoshop and it should pop up in a folder. This is what I did for windows and it worked. It may be a similar process for Mac users, but I'm not sure.
@@amrismendoza7955 If you're on a PC, you need to install either winRAR or 7-zip (its free). After installation, all you need to do is right click on any .rar or .zip file and select "extract". If you're on a Mac, I think you don't have to install anything--just double click. .rar and .zip files are a way to compress large files so they are easier to share and upload.
There are some other "Torn Paper Effect" Tutorials on TH-cam.. but for me, I really liked the way and style and you did it. I for myself edited 3 pictures today, where the picture, was just torn apart and no other pic edited in. I had amazing results. Thanks for the upload :) . (If you wanna see my results, I am pretty sure I am gonna upload it on "Shorts" probably)

I'm a newby to photoshop and managed to do it but I had to use some initiate and google where I had problems. All done and ready to go now!😄
@@chinusainisoni for the brush download just click this link www.brusheezy.com/brushes/13160-torn-paper-brushes and then after download, extract the file from the zip and then select brush tool in photoshop, go to brush settings and find *load brushes* and find the extracted brush you downloaded.
Hi great work. Just wondering if you could make a Video animating this art work and turning it in to a Video effect that comes to life rather than a still image?
For Mac users who cannot open the abr file: my mac automatically extract the rar file with VLC (which is stupid), just open the rar file it with literally any other app. If that still doesn't work you can open your brush pannel, click on the icon on the top left, you'll see an import brush option. Why is it that when I use the same brush I get a soft 'stroke' (gray on the layer mask) and when he does it he gets full black? Am I supposed to triple click? The hardness of the brushes in the pack are uneditable it seems, so I don't know how to get the same results. :'( the tutorial itself is great tho.

using an online converter (.rar to .abr) also worked for me
