I love the lighthearted, improv-style (almost deadpan but not exactly, idk what it's called) casting style of SunsFan. He's so funny and I like that he laughs and genuinely enjoys casting. I was genuinely just listening to the game they casted without watching it coz I was playing my own game of dota and I had so many giggles lol. I'm glad SunsFan was invited!
Buying your shirt might've saved me a huge headache. I had to go to my car to get my wallet, where i realized I left my car windows slightly open. Now it's been pouring rain for hours. That's destiny
This is a stretch, but if you guys don't have anyone in mind as guest for the next episode, I'd like to suggest a collab podcast with Cap and SVG - I'd actually pay for that!
Team Liquid vs XG Nisha and M1cke died a grand total of 0 times in 2 games. One of the most brutal beatdowns I have seen in a long time with really good teams.
My $.02 on 6v6 and 4 lanes for deadlock is actually having to do with ques. if you que with a friend it always puts you in a duo lane, but randomly assigns which lane. so to your point on complexity the default is pretty much impossible to predict lanes atm, and it encourages you to play with your buddy.
Talking about the tshirt blend I checked my midas mode shirt. its the same blend and its amazing. Merch idea: like the team liquid horse head. but yours. where its over the side of the shirt
Disagree with Syn, I feel like the this group stage format is very well received. It makes every series important and can lead to upsets such as TS vs Nouns, rather than the usual predictable upper bracket seeding. Also avoided lower bracket Bo1 like in previous TI.
A lot of people's complaints with the format mostly stemmed from the "Useless first few matches" before the seeding placement matches but I also disagree on that front. As someone who likes watching in-meta developments in tournaments, having those first few matches be like introductory scrims to test the waters of play was interesting. For example, if we went straight into the bracket deciding matches, we wouldn't have seen people fall absolutely flat on their faces with Doom and Sniper, and now that those heroes are out of the way, hopefully now that the brackets are formed, better and more thought-out strategies will be put to use. Luna looking good, for example.
@@rennoujip3073 I mostly agree that it is interesting to have two days of what are essentially scrims but the middle stage needs to be more than 1 BO3 to decide whether you're upper or lower bracket. If it was a short Swiss where you win two BO3s you go Upper lose two you go Lower and the teams that win both get to pick opponents or something would be better.
Not that it matters, but tf2 was played casually 12v12 no class limits. Competitive tf2 is a wholly community endevor and is most commonly 6v6 and 9v9 with class limits and weapon bans. TF2 comp was also largely unwatchable due to never getting a good view of the teamfights.
Merch feedback: For the mouse pad, i think it would look better to make the logo smaller and put it in the bottom or top right corner, its a little distracting, to overwhelming (sorry can't find the right words atm), the horse pattern should be the carry here.
Also a 2nd thought. I think synd's comments on free to play (only in the context of online multiplayer games) are probably accurate from a consumer perspective. but to Sunsfan's point free to play with skins is typically only viable with a reasonable development team, and locks you into longer term support. I think for a lot of indie devs that overhead and content drive can be a deterring factor to the business model.
i think there are better format than can facilitate the fans that want classic 2 GS vs 4 GS with decider seeding, and it was 2 GS, but the top group will automatically upper bracket, and the last place will go to LB as well, and the rest of the group will go to seeding decider for UB LB with this format, it will motivates teams tryhard to achieve 1st group in order to got days off, or take a chill way before taking seeding decider really serious, while not even bombs out totally just because they can automatically relegated for the last place in GS this also make some room of "tweak" / improvement (whatever you prefer) such as 1. give privilledge for 2nd place group to choose their opponent for the seeding decider 2. give the top 2 group against top 7, top 3 against top 6, top 4 against top 5 3. or maybe just randomly picking coin toss/or whatever method valve wants
What if we are esport-viewing Deadlock like Dota2 or similarly from top view and occasionally from player’s view and only replay good plays from player’s view. It’s gonna be complicated though.
Hello, cs player here new dota viewer. I was wondering if theres a reason why valve doesn't adopt an rmr-type system for dota? Would that resolve a lot of the issues with the tournament format or are there logistics that prevent it from being viable?
Could you talk about the format of the first days of playoffs. I think its a bit weird not to do the lowerbracket round 1 on one day, and lowerbracket round 2 on the next day, but instead they are doing two matches from round 1 and two matches from round 2 on the same day. This seems a bit unfair to some teams, as they get a day more to prepare, and some teams have to play two matches in one day, which could be avoided untill later in the tournament.
Look, spirit are an incredible team and yes they won 2 TIs but it wasn't back to back and they bombed out of TI11. So there is precedent for them to be kinda rubbish.
Regarding merch - sorry guys but I gotta be honest. The quality of your t-shirt and hoodie is bad. If it's not 100% cotton then it's crap (sometimes even cotton != cotton). Your shirt is: 50% polyester, 25% combed ring-spun cotton, 25% rayon which will cause any normal male to sweat AF. Breathing in it will be a disaster. Hoodie: 65% ring-spun cotton, 35% polyester - so no wonder Synd feels "slightly warm", it's 35% polyester. On predictions - I love how you already failed miserably :D
Y’all’s cast at TI13 has been so entertaining. Keep it up

The best casting duo at this TI IMO.
@@Micheldied you ain’t wrong
hopefully Suns got another chance to cast BB team match, just for the opportunity to add more meme on what BB team stands for 😂
Buying your shirt might've saved me a huge headache.
I had to go to my car to get my wallet, where i realized I left my car windows slightly open.

Amazing value for 28$
This is a stretch, but if you guys don't have anyone in mind as guest for the next episode, I'd like to suggest a collab podcast with Cap and SVG - I'd actually pay for that!
How much would you pay
Team Liquid vs XG
Nisha and M1cke died a grand total of 0 times in 2 games.
One of the most brutal beatdowns I have seen in a long time with really good teams.
Calling out the intro's interviews for missing first bloods like that was merited and nicely done.
Stickers with various running jokes from the podcast would be cool as merch
Yatoro does it again Synderen
Falcons vs Tundra is gonna be insane tomorrow! I’m so excited 😊
Shannon is correct here - if there is a fly in your food/drink you "complain" right away. Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy.
you two are my fav casters for sure
Synderen that friend trying to give the local delights and Sunsfan that unlucky friend that didn't have a picturesque that Synd had wanted.
Gratz on finally getting merch, definitely gonna pick some up for Xmas. To save on shipping can I just meet Jenkins somewhere? I also live in Ontario.
Sir, Jenkins is currently not a freebie of any available merch, you have to purchase him separately.
Can’t wait for the next episode
Get well soon, mister SUNSFan
Great merch, an idea I had was We Say Things pattern socks. I would definitely buy that

thats probably trademarked
I'm just disappointed we didn't get a branded ball shaver
Jerax is also insane at this game. one of the best pocket players
That merch segment was gold🤣
I cant wait for Character Design discussion episode
Cloud9 is officially considered Europe since they qualified through Europe qualifiers but obviously their players are CIS
Cis is rly means nothing. The should be just Europe, like in cs2
15:39 I CAN'T!🤣 FKN SYND DOES IT AGAIN!😆🤣🤣🤣

holy shit synd is malding irl
I would love to have a t-shirt with just the horse in your merch!
Can we get an option for a shirt with white? Like a basic shirt that we can wear under stuff, especially with fall/winter coming up.

Love your cats ! Hope you get to see Kødbyen before you leave
Deadlock will be a lot more popular once they have a casual mode, like ARAM/TDM/Turbo
Its been a loooooooong time since that I havent skipped any segment in this podcast.
Merch feedback: For the mouse pad, i think it would look better to make the logo smaller and put it in the bottom or top right corner, its a little distracting, to overwhelming (sorry can't find the right words atm), the horse pattern should be the carry here.
Micke would probably destroy at Deadlock
Blitz said Micke could easily transition to their Liquid CS team according to their actual CS team. He's THAT skilled

huh I didn't know lyrical used to be a chef
shoutout to synderins bald spot :)
all serious though, i know the pain man.
I need a giant horse head

Can we buy the merch direct at TI?!?

Thank you for your ted talk
It would be nice to have a hoodie with only the horse head :)
yatoro does it again synderen (getting last, hes gonna win next year so its fine)
my (almost) weekly favorite me time
This is one of the best playoff brackets I’ve ever seen. Every game is good. The upper bracket is nuts.
I guess SEA restaurant >>> Copenhagen restaurant 😂
Anyone know how I can get a deadlock invitation - thanks ❤
Tag ham med på Aamanns!!
Copenhagen n seething
Look, spirit are an incredible team and yes they won 2 TIs but it wasn't back to back and they bombed out of TI11. So there is precedent for them to be kinda rubbish.
It used to be 3 lanes and 5 heroes, but didn't work out. Game was not fun. You can datamine the tri lane map.
39:44 liquid lmao
Synderen and Sunsfan plushies pls
Can you make sunsfan toast face merch. Thx
@synderen Bro, you need minoxidil. Start now.
man sunsfan really did not say a single nice thing about Denmark lol
20 min talk about restaurant ... like 2 old people
