I was a Military Police Captain in charge of Security at Site R from 1977 until 1979. This video does not show much more than the outside. It is what was inside that counted. Back then, no cameras were permitted in site.
Worked there as part of the mining team adding tunnels and a new reservoir. I miss all the great folks in Blue Ridge Summit and at Toonies. Wild and crazy times, right guys?
I've met people that work there. They are really vague about it, and when I say "you mean Site R near Fairfield?" They are usually like "how do you know about that?" EVERYBODY around there knows about it.
I live over here by mister EDs on top of the mountain Tic Toc its called up here. and we hear some pretty loud shit coming from over that way. We know about Site R, i remember growing up and my mom telling me about the undergound pentagon over near fairfield. And I had a friend in highschool his father was an HVAC technician for them out there. But yeah its there and ive seen UFOs driving up jacks mountain road towards RT 16 already leaving fairfield.
+John Martens I was there TDY Oct 1999 and yes they do have a small shop run by the Army Air Force PX/BX system. I got a coffee mug souvenir but they were also selling T-Shirts with "Raven Rock" prominently displayed. I could not believe how much it had changed since I had worked there 1969 to early 1970 while stationed at Ft Ritchie. BTW, back then everyone referred to the place as Site R.
I agree with you. There may well be other underground complexes. But if a nuclear attack is able to cover the whole of a country (and every city of that country) why one cannot launch just one rocket directly targeted at Raven Rock, just in case (what if all were headquartered to in the Raven Rock)?
The Alternate Joint Communications Center and Alternate National Military Command Center - or at least one of them. It's hard to envision another place with that magnitude of a mission being kept entirely secret in our day, however. It's just too big of a project, involving too many service members, contractors, land deals and construction activities over a long period of time.
I can confirm that, AT&T switchboards and routed DSN calls from overseas, aside from that it's cold war-era boring and there's nothing else there for the haters and conspiracy wackos.
What's on the surface isn't important but th 1000s of miles of underground highways ad bunkers are. Al throughout history governments have catered to the rich and shit on the masses. Freedom is an illusion and so are rights for a certain class of Americans the masses aka the poor
Your comment would make sense if this wasn't built DECADES ago. Remember, when atomic weapons were a concern? There are reasons to build underground. Obama being an idiot has nothing to do with defense spending, in fact Obama has NOTHING to do with defense improvements or spending. If you've paid attention (uhh you even spelled his name wrong) his spending was on other things, like corporate bailouts and a healthcare trainwreck. Did you forget to say bye bye to NASA?
Some people will blame Obama if they stub their toe. That sort of life must be so much simpler. Find someone, or group of someones, filled with hatred and anger, who follow in lock step with others who have no real life or desire to know the truth, and let them think for you. It would be so much easier than having to thinking for yourself.
Richard Lee If you went back far enough, I'm sure you would find plenty of people to blame. But I am fairly certain that if you are as fixated on the president as you seem to be, you wouldn't find it possible to actually spend that much energy on finding out the facts. Oops, "fact," that's a four letter word...right?
Oh, yeah, now the whole world knows where to hit by nuclear attack. One for Pentagon, one for E-4B and another one for Raven Rock to be a safe winner in nuclear war.
Nope that is Site "R". Was there for a year as part of the security force. They have done some 'beautification' to it on the main gate access road since I was there, and it looks like the old vehicle inspection bay was replaced. The FD was inside back in the operational days. And that big security office was actually on Ft. Ritchie not at the site. But that is long gone too.
Hmm its like they have their own little community away from the hell they've created.

These are satellite photos. If people walk by and take pictures there grabbed.
I served in communications at the site in 1998. Even then no cameras were permitted in the site.
Photography is still not allowed.
And I imagine none of you want to elaborate do yall? I'd love to know if they hide children to feed to lizard people

Not a huge secret, they have a gift shop there that sells tee shirts that say "The Rock" on them. You don't see area 51 selling tee shirts!
Well, you will have a big shock when I go outside area 51 with a mobile tee shirt stand!

You really think they don't have any other underground complex's that are kept secret for the very reason of a nuclear attack?

I can confirm that, AT&T switchboards and routed DSN calls from overseas, aside from that it's cold war-era boring and there's nothing else there for the haters and conspiracy wackos.

The Art Of Nature - Through My Lens So, if Iran pops off a nuke in NYC this summer, will you blame Bush?

Right????
Probably just a diversion .
today there are other unknown, more updated sites.
You better know how to destroy Raven Rocks
Over paid, under worked government employees, sitting there doing zip!
This has got to be a dummy site!
