Plus, unless her mom was married within the last 15 yrs, that embroidery and material/color doesn't look like its her "mothers shaadi ka joda"

I love how much they respected the sentimental value of the sari unlike "something borrowed something new" where they destroy the mother's original dress without caring and just treat it like fabric.
I was looking for this comment. Even at first they said that she want to wear that saree. And at last out of nowhere it's a lehenga!

It’s natural for interviews to feel a bit staged, but I agree with the comments that these interviews gave off practiced school presentation vibes. Hard to believe it’s not fabricated when the final outfit looks nothing like the inspiration piece, no family photos, and they glossed over the result. 🧐
Would be nice to show a bride getting everything done from start to finish ~ and names of each part of outfits put in writing on screen to help us foreigners who may be interested!

nidhi rajput not true my ma wedding saree was golden colour benarasi. She married in 1971. It is still a beautiful saree. I don’t think I would be able to ever cut the saree or alter it into lengha as she did. If her mum was so special to her she should have worn as a saree and perhaps styled a different blouse or drape. It felt disrespectful that they cut the saree and did extra work on it. It was beautiful saree and understated. The royal Rajasthani woman is like this

Dats nath or nathni...in north india the maternal uncle brings it for the bride ...it is one of the 16 other jwelleries like mang teeka ,sindoor, mangalsutra,earrings etc ....indian women wear it on their marriage day n aftr getting married on special occassions to show dey r suhagana
