- I visited Shaniwar Wada fort in Pune. This historical fortress, known for its intriguing blend of history and folklore, has long fascinated visitors. As I stepped through its ancient gates, the tales of the Shaniwar Wada horror story about the assassination of Peshwa Narayan Rao circulated in my head. Yet, amidst the spine-tingling ambiance, the rich tapestry of Shaniwar Wada's history unfolded before me. Originally erected in the 18th century, this majestic stronghold served as the seat of power for the influential Peshwas, witnessing both moments of triumph and tragedy. The enigmatic Shaniwar Wada haunted story, intertwined with its real history, seemed to echo through its sprawling corridors. From its architectural marvels to the tragic events that befell it, Shaniwar Wada Kila stands as a testament to the resilience of the Maratha Empire.

Visited shanivarwada today only ... the huge fort was destroyed because of continues burning of 7 days ...in 19th century .... It's not haunted but u will definitely feel proud of the Ancestors history ... Har Har Mahadev

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ne 1 rule banaya thaa, ki koie bhi sardar killa bandh ke nahi rah sakta. Is wajha se us wakt ke Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj ne peshwa ko patthar ka killa banane ki permission nahi di. To baki ka killa eato ka banaya gaya. Peshwa bondry wall bhi bana rahe thae to Shahu maharaj ne unko roka. To boundry wall nahi bani. Boundary wall ka kam shuru huwa thaa Gavkos Maruti mandir ke pass jo sirf 5 se 10mnt ki duri par hai shaniwar wada se. Jo chota sa portion bandha gaya thaa use 30 se 40 saal pahle gira diya gaya. Waha abhi gavkos maruti ka mandir hain...

Whenever I find a good book, i read it and make a video, like this vlog. I made this because I had read a book exactly about the power struggle that I described in this vlog. When I visited Pune, I did visit this Fort. I had like 20 mins, so I just went across the fort fast. Din't know this place had so much history.
By the way, There is a Place where, Shivaji Maharaj, Did his Training in his youth. ie. From 14-20 I guess. Its somewhere near to this place.
Its just a hall and that's where he learned swordfight, Archery and stuff.
If you visit Pune, You must visit this place.
Also, There is another place called the Parvathi Mandir. Its on the hills. Very big hill. Has about 300 steps to reach the top. Must be equal to a 5 floor building.
And There is a War Memorial.
There you can see all the Army history of Maharashtra Regiment.
Rite From Shivaji Maharaj to Modern day Army.
