Loved every minute of this! I have 3 Gassmanns, and this one is my favorite. My beloved Claude Burdel 1751 is the ancestor of the Gassmann. The Claude Burdel also has those details in the wands and the swords have hilts as well. You’re making me want to do some side by side videos! ❤❤❤❤❤
I'd love to build up a collection of historic decks, but it's an expensive hobby :) There's a book I've been waiting for for about a year called: _The Tarot of Marsilio_ , by Christophe Poncet. I first heard about it in an interview with the author and Justin Michael at his channel. From what I recall, Poncet's theory is that the Marseille tarot originated with Marsilio Ficino, an Italian Priest and Philosopher who reintroduced Neoplatonism to Europe in the Renaissance and who translated what later became known as the Hermetica. The first volume (there's meant to be 3) is supposed to be out "later this summer", hopefully 🤞. Thanks for the walkthrough!

@@madwitch9977 I think I only have 20 decks, although that grew +1 today, when I received the Grail Tarot. I have just two Marseille decks: the Fournier and the one by Anna Maria Morsucci. Or maybe two and a half: I also have the Rider-Marseille :) I tend to read Marseille as if was RWS, but it does open itself up to more intuitive and numerological readings. Will let you know when the book is published 👍🙂

You mean reading Marseilles? there are better readers than me I think Diane form @readingbydiane might be a good one to watch. When I feel able I will definitely have a go xxx

My hobby used to say the same thing about Marseille, "aren't they all the same thing?'" 😂 but after a while he started to see it and now he really gets it.
