Matt, you can never have enough Diamond Plate, IMHO!!! 😜😎 As a long time Model Railroader, it was great to see some drybrushing thrown into this Hobby too!! It's a great, EASY method of adding highlights and making details pop. The way Josh has been thrashing his Honcho..... It didn't even dawn on me that it came with old school DOGBONES!! 😱 I gotta say though, treated with some respect, the factory budget Drivetrain holds up pretty well. I can't wait to get one.... although the way things are going, one's going to have to be bought FOR me! 😖 Thanks for this Series!! Carmine 🚂 (on my RC only Channel)
👍👍Top notch. Week 9 can't believe it. Can't wait to see what comes next. I would love to see a series on building a truck ground up, I like the styrene body builds you did on the website .
Wow, that poem was so touching! If only it was in slomo too. The builds looking great so far! Have you thought about putting some scale accessories in the back like a tow rope or fuel cans?
Not a big fan of unnecessary accessories. I usually try to figure out a theme and go with that in regards to accessories. I'll come up with something, but they'll be scratch built to save funds!
Awesome build man . you could add some scale beef patties and paint them up . or vanquish Inscision links add good weight down low. Rig is turning out awesome!😎💯
Exciting no but way better than running dog bones & I like what it does for looks! Another wicked addition to a great build series. FYI...IMHO...Harley is chasing you.
Don't really care for the dimond plate. But I do want to see how you program the tt300 third channel to go out stop & in stop. Can't seem to get mine to do that. Overall build is going great. Keep strokin. Later
I spotted the citadel black paint you used: was this just for a base coat? The citadel range is water based paint so will the finished piece degrade due to weather etc? Also where did you get the scale bolts and how much were they? Keep it up dude, still enjoying every episode!
Yes, base coat only. As soon as it flips it's going to degrade due to scratching. No preventing that! Screws from here: www.lockeduprc.com/M2-x-5mm-Scale-Hex-Bolts-30-Black-_p_471.html
Best poem. Ever.
Thank you sir, your words inspire and stir. Are we BFF's? Most defs.
Matt you rock. Thank you for the shout out. These budget build offs have been incredibly informative and entertaining at the same time.
Anytime Adam! Thank you for all you're doing!

I'm not usually hard on my trucks either, but like the added strength just in case. Thanks for watching!
I liked it as soon as the video started because I knew you were gonna kill the pre-intro. You did not disappoint .
I've got to come up with something funny for this week!
👍👍Top notch. Week 9 can't believe it. Can't wait to see what comes next.
I would love to see a series on building a truck ground up,
I like the styrene body builds you did on the website .
Man, doing a build video on a scratch body would take months to get through! Not sure I could keep people interested. Thanks for following along!
More then enjoying your budget build, I bought one of these honcho's as well and will be taking some of your ideas to mine, oh and best poem ever!!!!!
Right on! Glad we could inspire!

Great scale details with the styrene and dry brush method!
MIDWID!
Cheers! It's easy when you give it some practice!
As always truck looking better each week! Love the intro and poem 😆 . Can’t wait to see how u will mount the winch next week!! 👍👍.

Scale Builder's Guild
😂🤣😂🤣I can’t top that👍🏻
Awesome build man . you could add some scale beef patties and paint them up . or vanquish Inscision links add good weight down low. Rig is turning out awesome!😎💯
Weight down low is always good! Thanks for the tip!
Yet another entertaining and great how to. Keep up the good work.
Thanks very much!
A master of poetry is born 🤪
Haha, thanks!
Awesome ! That Razorback styling, just adding the diamond plate, reminds me of some Baja trucks! 👍😁👍
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback!
I do like the look from this weeks ad on"s! Good show.
Thank you Troi!
Awesome budget build video again, I’m loving these build vids👍👍👊👊📹📹dry brushing looks good, learn something new everyday
Thanks Steve! Every little tip & trick is gold, isn't it!
Scale Builder's Guild definitely!
Abaddon black and drybrushing! You should do a tutorial on « how to paint space marines » 😂
Dry brush the rest of the diamond plate, I think that would look good to match what you added
Good idea!
Looks great
Thanks!
Dude your poem made me misty. Another great week in budget build.
So many emotions! Or maybe you were cutting onions... ;)
Nice info tips and tricks as always thanks
Thank you!
It really changes the way it looks I like it
Originality should always be priority #1! Thanks for watching!
Hi, some nice bits and pieces.
You're a poet, but you don't know it, you'll give us a rhyme, at any given time. Oooooh yeeaaaahhhh baby. 😀 👍 👍 👍
That's way better than mine! Ha!
What size screw's are those and where do you find scale hardware?
Right here sir: www.lockeduprc.com/M2-x-5mm-Scale-Hex-Bolts-30-Black-_p_471.html
If you had blond hair you could double for Max Headroom. (There's an 80's reference for you). I like the diamond plating, adds something to the cage.
Oh I'm old. Loved Max Headroom!
Yeah, umm I like the plates on the upper part of the cage. The universal upgrade is an excellent option.
It's different, that's for sure! Thanks for watching!
Have you had it out running it to see how it performs on the trails or rocks
Still getting snow, so sadly no.
Epic poem!
Thanks Brad!
Exciting no but way better than running dog bones & I like what it does for looks! Another wicked addition to a great build series. FYI...IMHO...Harley is chasing you.
Ha, thanks very much!

I don't have that radio. The Honcho comes with a two channel radio unfortunately. Working on another solution though!
Mud Flaps !! Maybe even place a SBG logo on the mud flaps 👍👍
Break Discs ??? I'd really like to know if this is possible and if so, how to please 😁
Great ideas! I will look into these options.
I installed a power hd 20kg servo and now my lights flicker.
Do i need a bec?.
Sounds like it! Probably drawing too much power.
Scale Builder's Guild
