I came to the conclusion that Upstart doesn't do it for me in Sky Strikers. It's always such a tough battle I really don't want to give my enemies 3000 LP. I play one Averice right now and feel like it works better like this.
Best Toon deck right now is unironically GRAND LARCENY TURBO, where you spam Comic Hand, Mimicat, CoH, Widow Anchor and just direct attack for game with the opponent's monsters.

How can u be so lucky that your opponent newer hard draws subversion when you play stun. Lost 4 games already bc they hard drew that one
