Pre-emptively feeling your pain about the elevator. I spent best part of 2 hrs putting one in, then after the worst week ever i realised i needed at least 2 elevators to make life better. Must say i do like your layout more then mine. will defo be implementing toilets on each floor as most of my tower seems to be constantly riding lifts trying to find a toilet.
I've been watching the play through because I've never seen this game but you don't look at items as you place them. When you placed the first hanging plant you had a large increase in happiness but as you placed more on the same floor next to each other they become worthless. Plus I think you should move the input paper 1 floor down then have page 2 right about it then moving right add pages 2/3 & Output on the floor above. That way the helper doesn't have to move through the whole floor with heat and noise to input paper.

or you can put the (input paper printer) beside the door, also you can drag and put papers by your own hand not the worker.
You can move your paper manually BTW
