Display pilot, another box ticked. Great video Giles, I don't know how you can talk to the camera as naturally as you do, great stuff. Looking forward to day 3.
I do feel a little silly at times, and there have been a few moments where I've seen someone out of the corner of my eye and had to stop and start again. :)
That didn't half shift during take off. I'm anticipating an increase in American Flylight sales after this event. On a sperate note, imagine the fun you're going to half peeling that old skin off.
:-) It's an initiation ceremony we all go thru first time over the Pond. If it's any consolation, you'll do the exact same next year too. Great vid too !
Loved this, Giles. What an awesome event this clearly is. Would make a great addition to next year's calendar...🤔 Loving the coverage and looking forward to the next one already. 👍
Hi Simon, I did notice it yesterday when I landed with frozen hands while wearing ski gloves. It was a surreal experience flying with no gloves and just a T-shirt.
Brilliant Giles another great video and looking forward to part 3. Glad you managed to get a couple of circuits in when the wind calmed down. The windsock still looked pretty lively just after you had landed so well done.
Hi Lee, it was a little lively but a few mph lower than when I decided to not fly in the Demo slot. Because it was just circuits, there was less pressure and I could get used to the new machine. TEM is a good thing to use as a tool to keep us safe. Part 3 is an interview with Larry and Amy Mednick.
Nice one Giles. I guess the Larry Mednick interview is yet to come? I looked at the Revo microlight from Evolution years ago and it’s an impressive machine. Very well built. But unfortunately not available UK. Which is a great shame. His positive comments on parts of the trike design in vid 1 were interesting. Ben should have put a patent on it. Looking forward to the next episode. I’m coming with you next year. 👍
I completely enjoyed this video. You’re such a lucky man GF22 !!! I went to Sun n Fun some years ago. I hope Vittorazi launches an electric Moster soon 😀
The flex wing community is different and is the Sub 70 and SSDR and micro light but at Northrepps we all get along. Love the Dingo race, now that is very much in the idea of SSDR unlike my aircraft, I may have to look at one next for the Paramotor type days / summer evening potter. PS crashing aircraft would not help sales so good choice not to fly the demo.
Each airfield seems to have a different vibe as I found out yesterday at Belle Vue. GA getting along with 3 Axis and flexwing. They were curious about my PeaBee which was nice, they hadn't heard of it before.
I think some airfields have legacy planning permission issues as some wont allow flexwings or 2 stroke aircraft in. I know of a few, as I anted to go there.
@@GolfFoxtrot22 true that is the case for some but other just seem to think microlights are toys and SSDR/sub70 are even more so but with the 600 class and fast microlights like the Shark with variable pitch props and retractable gear, I thing they are changing their minds slowly.

It’s not fun having skin cancer cut from your face. I don’t go out in the summer without my hat. I’m glad PPG Gorilla shot some footage of you. Looks pretty damn cool! Hi Ed, If you’re watching. Did I hear you’re from PA?
Hi Tom, I did have my hat on, but took it off for the small moments when chatting to people, also being under a red wing does help. I did have sunscreen on. Thank you for looking out for me. Yes Ed is from PA. I'll let him know your comment is here.

Hello Giles, Not sure if you are still reading comments on this video but I thought I’d post anyway. I looking at building an Air Trike Eagle single seat frame. I am wanting to know if the Aeros Nine will work with that frame? Also, is that an appropriate wing for a zero time trike pilot? Thanks in advance for any information!
Hi Bob, I always try to respond to any comments people put on my videos. I think the best thing would be to contact Blue Collar Aviation and chat with Tabor, he'll be able to advise further.
Anyone else wandering what shade of pink Giles will get to by the end of the week? Great vid Giles and chuffed to get a shout out. 👍
Haha, the camera makes look redder than I am..especially when I am under a red wing..lol
Title for next vid - Operation Factor 50 ;-)

Do love flying in Florida… glad you had a great time… nice to see the 9 in the air.
Hi Neil, I was lucky as the weather was so variable. More fun and games to come.

Hi Duncan, at least you know what a NiNE can climb like. It was definitely a step up from Popham ;)
Are you going popham this year?
