Vicky Garza hell yes lived for socom ruined a relationship but worth it. Awesome time for gaming. It amazes me they haven't brought it back. Freaking Sony.
I remember I was a kid when my dad was a goat on SOCOM. He got me to play in elementary school and I remember getting my very first MVP. Amazing Memories 📝
I was 12. I was obsessed with WWII, D-Day, Band of Brothers, and SOCOM. I wanted to be a Navy SEAL more than anything in the world. I aged a little and realized that's dumb as fuck but I'll never forget this era of my life
I’ll never forget achieving the rank of 571 out off 300,000 players . I also remember the name of the #1 rank player K45Steph . I was a part of CBK Cold Blooded Killaz Omega Red TM .
aFg Afghan Bombers. I met and spoke to the leader of that clan. He had multille names in top 10. He had like 8 ps2's and be would play Guidance Escort. He would go Terrorist and kill hostages over and over to achieve high rank
One day we will have an even better SOCOM , one day technology will be enough evolved to grant us access to that piece of art that SOCOM is . Respect to all the players that dedicated a part of their life into this game , no matter how good or bad you were , what matter is that you had the capacity to feel and enjoy it .
I feel like a part of me died with this game.. This was one of the first games I actually started to play online with, instead of singleplayer..even with all it's faults, bugs, and code-9 hackers, it was the best game I've ever played online. RIP Socom 2, you will be missed. *Salutes*
Crystal Wells 😂 u didn’t happen to get that time machine since u post this message did you? I want to know whose gonna win this war with America and Iran that’s about to happen
Socom was the only game i enjoyed playing online, it was both fun and had a great community, it all ended when someone had a lust to win, and wanted to do so so badly that they used hacks against others. Then other people started getting hacks and nite pr and decided to use it whenever they lost or frustrated, with the original idea of defending them self against that one person, who wanted to win. R.I.P SOCOM FTB you will always be my favorite :'D
The beginning of this song is Beautiful, it sounds like something that would play during a last stand mission. Like the Seals have their backs against the wall and are choosing to take one last stand and die as heroes
Medal of Honor had some classics as well, upper half of the nostalgia pyramid for single player experience. If you haven't heard, for starters - "Dogs of War" "Arnhem" "Operation Market Garden" Rising Sun theme
I love how the tried to make newer SOCOM games, but nothing will compare to SOCOM 1 & 2. I still play them today on my ps2. It kills me to see that my favorite game series has died out. You'll always be remembered by me SOCOM. SPECTER
I haven't shipped out yet. My contract date just got changed to December 13th from September 18th. I've been in DEP for about 7 months now...I'm very excited to go. :P Right now I am just training and taking as many PSTs as I can. Talking to SEALs such as Don Shipley, and a multitude of others, reading everything I can about BUD/S, that stuff. One can never be prepared enough. I think I know as much as one can know about SEAL training while still being a civilian. =) Helps to have SEAL friends.
Man this song bring's back so much memories from when i was in the war im back in my buissness inderustry i have a broke leg and but every day i think of how i made a difference in a life how ive lived i wus only 19 in that war world war 2 and now im here happy as a clam
If you have that opportunity, seize it with both hands! Swimming is huge in the SEALs and really any Naval Special Warfare group. You need to be a strong swimming and confident in the water. I actually love drown proofing. I thought I was doing it wrong because I actually enjoyed it, but when my friends would try they'd start to freak out from holding their breath. It puts me in a trace though. I love it! Try it without your hands and feet tied first. They do theirs in a 9 foot pool. Goodluck!
you got a 360 no scope headshot? Im a Socom Us Navy Seal veteran stopping terrorism where ever they may threaten peace. Over 56 successful combat missions. And have seen comrades come and go. The history of this game will never be forgotten. -pushes his Seal trident into boomers casket then salutes-
Good luck to you too, bro. If you'd like any training tips let me know =) Push-ups (chest touch) take longer to develop, but you can get your sit-ups from 20 to 100 in 2 minutes within 4 weeks if you work at it. Running depends on the person, but I was able to get my time from a 10 to a 5:30 mile in a couple months. Cycling and running help swimming too, but there is no alternative for swimming. Get your mileage up to 4 miles comfortably running a 7min mile. You can do it. Stay motivated!
As far as swimming goes, the only way to learn how to swim properly and better your time is to actually swim. I never had a pool when I was in high-school, so I had to learn how to swim and swim the combat side stroke all on my own at a late age. From practicing a month for 2 hours every other day or so, I have been able to go from only being able to do 20m to being able to do the full 500 in 10:12. Cycling running and core work help with this a lot. Remember you do your pushups after the swim.
@Nervebomb101 Indeed.. SOCOM #1 was the best of the SOCOM series in my opinion.. I remember playing all summer holiday that mission where you have to save those Marines hahah I just died time after time (played in on diffiulty of Admiral or something).. But I won after all and finished the game time after time.. Not bacause it was easy,, I just remembered the motto of the SEALs 'The only easy day'...
yes what i also liked was if the room title said " no shotguns or m203" that meant those weapons cant be used, even in the early socoms whithout weapon restriction options. If you used something not allowed in that room, you wernt killed by the opposing team but by your team -with warning first though
socom 1 was so bloody hard it took me ages to get passed the level where you have to break into a prison type base to rescue some iran guy i think it was mission 8 but so long ago i cant remember but still this game was amazing and would probs still piss on most games 2day
First time My dad showed this to me was when I was 5. 10 years later, the first and second socom are the best ones i have ever played today. If only there was no code niners, people would still be playing them instead of the new pieces of cr*p socoms that they have.
Rest in Peace, SOCOM... You will truly be missed.
